12 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass.
Appearance - Clear golden body with a nice white head. The head lasts a good while and becomes nice, sticky lace.
Smell - Great citrus hop aroma. Strong and vibrant. Smells as good as the best IPAs. A little bit of biscuit malt, as well.
Taste - Very citrusy at first and then some pine hoppiness. Great hop flavor. A bit of caramel sweetness in the middle and it finishes with the same biscuit malt I smelled. The downfall is the bitter finish. It's got a burnt character to it that's a bit off-putting. Otherwise, very nice.
Mouthfeel - Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Par for the course and what I'm looking for in a DIPA. The only issue is that bitter aftertaste.
Overall - A very nice DIPA. I'm enjoying it, despite that aftertaste. It's hardly a complaint, just a slight imperfection.

Orangish amber pour with nice fluffy head, soft hoppy aroma, taste is more tart and bitter, pine notes on the finish. Nice sharp DIPA (west coast style)

Bottled 2/4/15; drank 3/9/15 @ the Yarchives.
Semi-opaque light orange appearance; white flotsam.
Big eggshell head; frothy lace.
Grapefruit, caramel & pine needle notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Pine needle & caramel flavors up front; a grapefruit bite on the finish. As this warmed, a nice peanut butter (!) note emerged.
Not normally my flavor profile, but this was interesting & tasty. I'd have another.
