Bottle: standard 355mL brown bottle, interesting label.

Appearance: pours a hazy orange colour with a fluffy head that drops fairly quickly to a one-finger off-white.

Aroma: almost an overabundance of wheat, with plenty of citric backing, obviously. The orange smells more of natural orange peel rather than the usually more artificial orange syrup that one sees in many of these types of beers.

Taste: a combination of those strong wheat and orange peel flavours with some lighter spice and bread malt backing. Not unpleasant at all.

Aftertaste: lingers nicely, a hint of citric hop bitterness comes through also. A good, refreshing wit.

Mouth feel: light in body with plenty of carbonation - a very easy drinking beer. The carbonation carries the flavour well without being 'lumpy' like some lagers, for instance.

Overall: this is a pretty good witbier. The addition of the orange doesn't detract from the wheat, as the wheat seems to have been 'turned up' to compensate. Also the non-artificial nature of the orange really impresses.

Pours a nice golden-orange color with a two-finger head that quickly fades. Looks pretty bubbly.
The aroma is primarily orange and coriander and a bit of white bread.
Tastes a bit like a sweetened orange juice with a hint of lingering orange pith bittering.
Mouthfeel is fairly thin and bubbly.
A decent summer beer.

Good beer that has a nice orange hint to it. It's subtle

L: brilliant gold under a 1/2" foam cap with fair to poor retention

S: moderate to moderately low levels of orange, coriander, wheat and honey

T: Wheat, honey and spice lead the flavors with a very mild sweetness.

F: The body is medium light and the carbonation is medium.

O: lacks the Belgian yeast character, the light tartness on the finish and the smoothness and light creaminess of a Belgian wit

This was interesting.

Pours similar to the Coronado Orange Ave, but a little lighter in color, when put to the light. This is a very similar brew. Both are pale body, light and citrus backed. Both have the orange taste lingering in the body, however... this one has a sweetness that the regular Orange Ave doesn't have. Which makes this slightly different to the palate.

This is a good representation of the Witbier.

Had at Margarita's in Branford on 8/1. Pours a little clearer than your typical wit, decent head though. Very light aroma here, spices barely detectable. Faint flavor of sweet citrus and a delicate malt background. Subdued. Light body makes it refreshing and easy to drink. Not really true to style but nothing offensive. An OK beer.
