This So-Cal take on a traditional witbier honors Coronado’s main street, which is home to our brewpub and was once lined with orange trees. Bolstered by orange zest, coriander and orange blossom honey, it’s Belgium by way of Coronado. Expect a refreshing, light-bodied brew rife with citrus zing and a hint of earthy spice.

12oz can
Orangeish, very hazed, bubbly head that disappears. Smells of orange and coriander. Tastes also of orange and spice, with some good savory baked bread malts. But it also tastes kinda dusty and rusty.
It's aiight

Drinking this at one of my favorite tap rooms Tapped Craft and Drafts in Greenville NC.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks hazy orange with a nice foamy offwhite head that dropped quickly to a thin cap.
Smells citrusy orange, bready, coriander.
Taste follows the nose nicely, sadly lacking the yeastiness associated with the style.
Mouth feel is medium plus for the style.
Overall a very nice example of the style just lacking the yeast aspect, but nice and orangey and quite refreshing.
Cheers!

From a can. Nice foam head, smells of orange and citrus, good carbonation, I wish the taste was a little stronger. A nice summer beer

On tap at a 19th hole in good old NJ, pint glass.
Orange is an understatement. Orange in color with a modest white cap, bubble up carbonation, wavy rings of lacing.
Orange in aroma. Mild wheat and fresh spice.
Light wheat base with orange and citrus in general freshened with cilantro.
Light, refreshing, drinkable.
Worthy of a second pour on a cool sunny day.

Muy refreshing.
Orange Avenue Wit Looks average with hazy, orange coloring but its foam fades too fast. Smells fake a fecund orange orchard... then adds traditional wit spices. Tastes follow, but with another citric zest for zip. Feel is medium, but the bubbly makes this a truly refreshing beverage.
In surveying their website as I drank this, I was carried to Coronado. The visuals totally captured this isolated beach town across the bay from a large metropolis. Coronado Brewing has been there for almost 25 years; just brewing beers and adding to San Diego's superior lifestyle with three locations and, surprisingly, some recent medals. Unambitious to become some manager's brand, Coronado is cool.

Orange is ubiquitous here. Orange appearance, aroma, taste and mouth feel. And perhaps this beer would be better if that is all it was.
Orange pour, mega cloudy body, the top: off white hint of orange in the head, 2/3". Aroma of orange, coriander and the rest of the spice rack.
Taste is a heftier Blue Moon, maltier, even brings a slight caramel aspect to the taste and mouth feel. No additional alcohol presence. Light bitterness, like its not just orange rind, but also grapefruit rind in a smaller proportion. More clove and coriander on firm footing. I get what they are going for here. No my jam, but we all know plenty for whom it is. Its not a beer I would buy another 6 pack of absent special circumstances where I'm being a beer DJ on the river or softball. Would be interested to try a non spice rack version of this, the coriander and clove are my least favorite aspects of the beer. While I'm here, the appearance looks like a hybrid hazy ipa and 100ibu ipa.

Pours a slightly cloudy golden orange with a thick creamy head.
Quite delicious and very drinkable. Nicely balanced citrus and spice.
I think I'd enjoy this more on a warm summer evening rather than the cold winter night I'm drinking it on ... but still really good.

Unknown vintage; drank 5/2/16 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy yellow/orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice, noisy bright white head; nice lace.
Coriander, orange peel, mild peanut butter & faint clove notes in the nose. Interesting!
Medium mouthfeel.
Peanut butter, coriander & mild caramel flavors up front; grapefruit bite on the finish.
Extremely unique yet easy to quaff; I'm not sure what to make of this, but I'm excited to try another!
