Hazy pale orange, lively streams of carbonation, pure white but fizzy head. I'm floored by the nose, in a good way- succulent juicy tropical fruit like mango, apricot, orange, some white pepper and cardamom, a fair bit of vanilla. It's a little sugary cloying, but I'm nearly drooling for it at the same time. The flavor becomes a bit muddier with some chalky, peppery yeast muffling those juicy notes, but remains tasty. Despite the honey, perhaps because of the yeast flavor, this is pretty dry. Overly carbonated, it almost burns, but if that had been toned down it would be very refreshing.
I'm both disappointed that the nose didn't take its indulgence to the flavor as well; it would have been delicious, but possibly considered a malternative. Belgian in audacity with ingredients and highlighting the yeast, but it didn't quite have the Belgian nuance. This was still a great pleasure.

A: Straw and murky. Quarter finger head.

S: Typical bread, wheat and light lemon.

T: The orange shows up immediately with bread and wheat finishing crisply. The finish is sweet without that bready aftertaste that some wits have.

M: Moderate carbonation and light body.

Overall: for what it is, it is very good. The orange is subtle but present enough to have a nice sweet finish which makes this one of the better tasting wits I have had.

pound for pound i reckon this is one of the better beers these guys make on a regular basis. its different as the wit style goes, and they have jazzed it up just right. hazy but less pale in color than others, more golden than yellow, with a short lived airy white head. the aroma here is awesome, orange blossom honey, the orange is there for sure, but its sweet, floral, and in front of the belgian yeast, but works well in concert with it. fruity and sweet at the same time, grounded only barely by the sturdy wheat malt. the flavor is awesome and a lot like the aroma, really floral citrus and honey notes, completely herbaceous, springy, polleny, fresh, zesty, living. its great. a little surprised to see this rated so low here, maybe its because to style its pretty out there, but you have to appreciate the complexity in the flavor. the orange i awesome, the blossom element is great, honey all the way through it, there has to be honey in here right?! carbonation sags just a little, and its not so light as to be an all day crusher, but i like it having a little substance to support all the flavor. this is great beer, tastes like no other wit out there, but yet is not at all overdone. i was real pleased with this, and think its far better than its current ratings...

The appearance is a hazy blond, with a two finger head that dissipated fast, minimal to zero lacing, this may be because the bottle was six months old.

Not a strong smell but does have floral notes

This is a wheat beer that would compliment a meal becuase of the mellow spices.

P- Al's of Hampden

A- a clear carbonated bright hay yellow color. A stciky lacing left on my pint with a one finger head.

S- orange and supple wheat are prominent but then there is coriander and honey on the back end.

T- Strong orange and wheat dominate. I then get some sweet honey and the hint of coriander.

M- dry and citrusly wheaty. Goes down easy and without a cringe.

D-Overall a good brew, unique and one of a kind. this would be a good summer beer.

Pours a cloudy yellow with nice foam and minimal lacing. Smells of citrus, to be honest the smell is very muted, I cannot get much out of it. The taste is very good, good orange notes with wheat/honey and mild carbonation. Overall a very enjoyable beer, excellent for summer months and out by the lake fishing, very nice. Wish it had a little more depth of flavor but as a whole a nice beer.
