Pours a rosy, orangy color with off white bubbly head that held well and faded into a thick collar, heavy wisps, great legs, and good lacing. Aroma is sweet/floral hibiscus, faint bready malt sweetness, floral and slightly earthy hops. Taste began heavy on the hibiscus, with that dual hop flavor behind that. I really enjoy this, so I guess I'm a big fan of hibiscus. Good body, low-med carb, and low hop bitterness. Not particularly great for an IPA, but immensely enjoyable.

My Stone rep told me about this brew. Seemed kind of gimmicky, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Pours a clear pink with a bright white, 2 finger thick head. Smells beautifully floral (imagine that). The taste is unique and quite delicious, you get more of the earthy/bitter from the petals of the hibiscus vice the sweet nectar, and compliments the hop character perfectly. It has a clean and dry finish. Probably my favorite aspect of this beer is the fact that it is only 4.9% alcohol yet is an extremely floavorful IPA. This is a great beer to spend a lazy day by the pool drinking.

The worst floral incarnation of any hoppy beer I've ever had. Pours a pink tinted ruby hue with light cream pink shade of head leaves fine speckled lace.

Aroma has floral, citrus notes, hop bitterness and vegetal qualities.

Flavor a muddled mess of floral notes and citrus hopped alpha acids, very little malts lingering bitter flowers, with crazy muddled hops even though the label reveals at least three hop varieties in name in print.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied even carbonation flows just fine lingering bitterness rolls between the hibiscus notes and three C hops without much malts to balance the lingering bitterness of hops and flowers.

Overall, I see this beer is retired, but maybe they'll still make it for breast cancer awareness or as they called it "Beer for Boobs"!!!

On tap at the Orange Street brewpub location.
Colloboration beer with Maui (HI) Brewing.
IBU = 40

Pours medium amber with a good, durable head that leaves some sticky lacing.

Aroma: floral hops

Taste: ample floral hop flavor with some herbal aspects. Hint of baked bread.
Medium bitterness.

Feel: medium body; smooth but slightly sctringent.

O: Well-crafted, slightly distinctive, IPA

On-tap at Thirsty Monk, Asheville, NC

A: The beer is clear amber in color. It poured with a thin white head that died down, leaving lacing on the surface and around the edge of the glass.
S: Faint to light aromas of hibiscus are present in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell but the hibiscus flavors are a lot stronger. Neither hop flavors nor bitterness are noticeable, although as the beer warms up slight hints of bitterness become noticeable.
M: It feels a bit shy of medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I wouldn't have guessed this was an IPA if I was given it in a blind taste test as it seems to taste more like a fruit/vegetable beer.
