Never had one of these but I am now on a mission to find more! This is an awesome beer, and maybe just an awesome style. Pours a coppery color, lots of thick head to it. The taste is a strange one, you are thinking Hefewiezen, but getting rye. I can't explain it, a spicy hefe?

Nice and bubbly. High carbonation. Easy to drink. Hope this becomes a regular.

Pours a hazy copperish organish color with a one finger head which gives way to a skim which stays around for the whole time. There is also nice lace up and down the glass. The aroma is of rye up front with a banana presence in the middle. The end has a hint of citrus. The taste has a rye and spice backbone. Half way through you get a banana taste as well as a hint of sweetness and citrus. The mouthfeel is well carbonated. Overall this is a very good beer the taste is complex and interesting. The rye and the sweetness give a great balance to each other.

A: Pours a hazy golden orange color with a thick off-white foam head that has nice retention. There is ample lacing down the sides.

S: A nice clean and very pleasant scent. There is some rye and spice with a hint of citrus. There is also a nice undertone of bananas and bubblegum

T: Starts off with a nice amount of gritty rye taste. As a Rye Bourbon fan, it is quite enjoyable. In the middle there is an ample amounts of bananas and clove to go along with the rye. On the backend there is a nice undertone of citrus.

M: A nice light bodied beer, very clean and crisp. Ample amounts of carbonation.

O: I have enjoyed many of the beers from Beaver Brewing, but this one is my favorite. Thanks to Dan my first Roggenbier was a huge success!
