poured from draft
Pours hazy copper with white head, smells of bready malty yeast with bitter tones, tastes bready overall with hoppy overtones well balanced, smooth creamy mouthfeel with lasting finish.

a hazy pale ale brewed with oats and very liberally hopped, my first beer from these guys and a pretty solid one, i think better than its ratings here by a considerable margin. i like the fuller, frothier body, and the hops have a nice mix of juicy dry hopped fruity character and intense finishing bitterness, its robustly flavored for a pale, pushing the ipa realm i think, but balanced and tasty. lots of citrus and even melon in the nose, juicy and fresh, with a somewhat heavy orange overtone, but also a protein rich malt base that isnt sweet, but seems to have plenty of character. the taste is pretty much the same, its fuller bodied for sure, even a little heavy as it warms up, and does seem a little less refined than it could be, a little filtration or other clarification would brighten this up a lot. good bitterness coming on late and an extended hoppy finish that has some bite. i thought this was good overall, a little rough around the edges, but assertive and still quite drinkable...

What's wrong with you other reviewers? I am drinking it right now and it's downright good. Nice corn-like color and forward march.

Pours an effervescent amber with 2+ fingers of rocky cream colored head. Great lacing & average head retention

S: Slight breadyness

T: Light maltyness, some toastyness up front, plus dryness, Sweet breadyness, slight astringency & a little toastyness as this warms. Finishes toasty, dry & with woody hops

MF: Light/medium body, firm carbonation, decent balance

Drinks easy, sort of a throwback Pale Ale

Had on tap. Pours hazy, orange-brown in color, with minimal head. Taste is malty sweet:caramel, toffee, pale malts. On the sweeter side with medium body. Tasty pale ale that I could have several of. Really impressed with Tin Roof's interpretation of the style.
