Canned 6/24/16

Pours an effervescent honey color with 2+ fingers of cream colored head. Great head retention & good lacing

S: Neutral, some grassiness & pine fight through, then grapefruit

T: Pine, grapefruit & breadyness up front. Herbal, woody & grapefruit, rich breadyness as this warms, a little caramel, plus dryness. Finishes with grapefruit, dryness, pine & a little more caramel

MF: Medium body, soft carbonation & nice balance

Solid IPA, wouldn't go out of my way to get it, but would get again if the great IPAs weren't available, nose is the only real drawback

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a orange/amber color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of citrus, hops. Taste is hops, tea, tropical fruits, some pine, a bit of malts. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Appearance: dark hazy orange in color with a 1/2" head and creates some mild lace on the glass.

Smell: very mild aroma as only some caramel and earthy tones are all you can detect.

Taste: caramel, soft grapefruit tones, and an earthy bitterness create a pleasant IPA.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Light crispness from start to finish with a hint of dryness arriving late.

Overall: an easy drinking IPA that satisfies.

Poured from 12oz can into a pint glass.

Appearance: medium orange hue with a moderate haze and a strong effervescence. Head is a thin layer of frothy light-tan foam. Not bad.

Smell: moderately sweet and rather malty with some citrusy and piney hops. Decent.

Taste: much like the aroma, the flavor is rather malty with some slightly herbal, slightly piney hops with a hint of grapefruit. Bitterness is moderate for the style. It's a reasonable IPA, but nothing to write home about.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a pretty good creaminess. Not bad for the style.

Overall: this is a pretty drinkable IPA, if mostly an unremarkable one.

Pours hazy, dark orange-brown in color with 1/3 inch head. Taste is pine resin, grapefruit, and Earl Grey tea. Light caramel sweetness appears as the beer warms. Bitter with dry finish, medium bodied and moderate carbonation. Tasty and dry IPA that is worth a shot, but I prefer others in the style.

Amber golden color with a thin head that vanished quickly.
Nice refreshing aroma of pine, grapefruits, sweet fresh oranges and slightly toasted malts.
Bold flavor with lots of pine and tea bags notes. Also, grapefruits, spices, oranges, passion fruits, lemon, peaches and sweet toasted and caramel malts. Quite dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light to medium body with good carbonation.
Decent IPA with bold piney and citrus notes.
