Have been to cobblestones on several occasions for both private functions and just to grab a bite to eat. They have a pretty nice atmosphere, the place is an old brick building in downtown lowell right across from city hall. The beers That I have had on tap here have been pretty decent. they have sam, harpoon and even the 100 barrel series. The Service is good, never had any really stellar or terrible experiences here. The selection is really only average as they have the larger regional craft brews but nothing really hard to find. The food has always been good from the pub fare to the fancier dinners. The place is not a cheap bar but its not outrageous. definitely worth a trip, especially if its when they are debuting one of the 100 barrel series beers from harpoon and if you are a friend of harpoon or just sign up there they give you a free pint.
