From a 12oz bottle picked up in SC. Pours a copper color with a large amount of foam. Malty smell. Medium body with plenty of carbonation. Malty flavor with some caramel-like sweetness and a slightly bitter finish. A good all-around red ale. Definitely true to style -- I've had red ales in Ireland that were foamy on tap too.

One of the best red ales I’ve had in a long time. Found a six pack at a discount store (wish TC dated their packaging), got lucky as this was fresh and a real stand out for the style.

I agree with the Alstrom Brothers' description, an all around exceptionally well balanced Irish Red Ale. No one particular traditional red ale ingredient dominates this ale's taste or smell. Outstanding job Thomas Creek Brewers! One of the best Irish Reds I've had and I look forward to another one.

Though its an ale, i dont find the brew hoppy. As a non-hoppy guy, a pleasant surprize. Malty, caramel, rich complex taste. Nice creamy feel. I really enjoyed this brew and will look for more when i get home.
