The beer poured murky golden amber (a bottle conditioned pilsner mayber?) The head was white and stood tall, falling slowly to lace the glass.
The aroma was fruity and malty when first poured.
The flavor was fruity and slightly winey. There is some crispness to the flavor, but the beer is nowhere near clean enough for a pils. There is just enough bitterness to keep the beer from becoming sweet.
The finish was dry but fruity. The body was medium.
12 ounce bottle. I could believe this was a pale ale or an english bitter, but a pilsner...no way. Purchased at Total Wine is Charleston, SC.

Pours a clear, gold color. 1/2 inch head of a white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of yeast, pale malt, slight sweet malt, and a hint of hop. Fits the style of a German Pilsner. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of slight earthy malt, slight yeast, pale malt, hint of hop, and a hint of sweet malt. Overall, good appearance, decent aroma, body, and blend.

Picked this up recently at Joe Canal's in Parsippany on the singles rack. I didn't expect much from this, mostly because of the other Thomas Creek beers that I had in the past. This was indeed true to form but the body was light and the aftertaste was quite odd, to the point where I couldn't quite pinpoint what I was drinking. As an afterthought, the alcohol was light enough not to be noticed but that was in line with the rest of the qualities of this beer.
The pour to this was better than I expected - golden, clear, and with a frothy head that never quit throughout my session. Great lacing left on the side of my pint glass that rivaled heavier beers that I've had of late, as the rings were neatly arranged on the back side once I worked my way through this. Not a strong aroma and not a strong flavor profile either - usual grains and cereal but with a hint of earl grey tea and wheat thrown in for good measure. Was that sour grass and straw in there too? I don't know bu- belch! Whoa...is that mint I taste? Hay? Old lemon zest? Gosh, I can't quite figure it out but it's odd. Something about the taste wasn't right and there was even a few bits of something or other floating in the head, but it looked like it was poured out of a shaker and not your typical sediment. Just something about all of that that didn't quite measure up to the appearance of this...
Sure, you could have a whole pile of these and never feel buzzed but you'd be in the bathroom given the amount of water needed to chase this down. I'm sure someone in the south loves this beer as a summer refresher but with so many session IPA's on the shelf now, why grab this? The Victory Prima Pils or the Brooklyn Pils would easily blow this out of the water but at least I grabbed the accompanying sleeve to add to my collection. This wasn't something that I"d reach for again.

12 oz bottle into a teku.
Appearance: Pours a clear straw color. The head is less than a finger high and white in shade. Retention is lousy, and only small pockets of lacing stick to the glass. (3)
Smell: Uh, guys...I'm not picking up much. Maybe some traces of mint, grass, and malt sweetness, but that's really it. While not really flawed, it's really lacking in character (even for the style!) (2.75)
Taste: This seems slightly odd. I pick up notes of mint and other assorted herbs to start, before the light malt backbone finishes it off. Exactly as the nose suggested, there's almost nothing of interest here. (2.75)
Mouthfeel: Very light, as a pilsner should be. It does have a bit of body to it, though. Decent carbonation aids its easy drinking nature. (3)
Overall: This is quite easy to drink. The problem is, other pilsners out there show off a bolder, more expressive flavor profile. This would be good with food in fairness - then again, so are the aforementioned other pilsners out there. (2.75)
2.79/5: A bit of a snoozer

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- Has a soft aroma with grass and malt the primary driver.
Appearance- A pale clear yellow color with a very small white head
Taste- Has a very slight flavor, not bad but lacks character
Palate- A light bodied medium carbonated pilsner
Overall- Not a bad beer to drink when needing to be refreshed, very much in line with a BMC brand to me.
