12 oz can, poured into tulip glass

dark golden amber color, foamy white head. aroma is caramel malt and a bit of piney hops. this is either old, or a throwback malty "East Coast" IPA. not sure. medium bodied.

Frog Horn pours a deep golden , near amber, clear with creme head, that holds, and laces the glass nicely...smells of earthy grains and traditional UK hops, slightly lemony but not the USA fruit loop style. This is an old school style that I like in the colder months. It's very old in the vibe of its leathery woody aromas and look. The taste follows this exactly, and the hops must be traditional noble bittering hops. Very nice original UK style ipa.

On tap in a 20 ounce mug.

Transparent caramel colored brew with an oddly colored off white, greenish tan, cap. Frothy nonetheless, and lasting, with abundant drape lacing.

The caramel color laid the foundation. Sturdy caramel malt aroma with earthy hops; floral and woody.

More caramel on the palate. The barley is roasted to caramel malt perfection. English style floral hop bitterness.

Delicate carbonation tempers the malt body to medium with a semi-sweet hop finish. Clean and flavorful.

More English style IPA than advertised IMHO. More malt and caramel than hop and citrus or any fruit for the that matter. Regardless, still worth another.

12 oz. can, stamped- PACKAGED ON 6/11//2019 !!! Folks, that's how ya do it!
Dumped into a New Belgium goblet
Bold dark gold/orange amber transparent body gets a fine head that emits fine..
Fresh tart lemony hop aromas and caramel malty undertones; a classic style IPA smell...
Tastes like expected: not fruity, more of the old school tart woody/malty UK IPA style/flavors . Bittering hops more than balance it, for a nice classic versatile IPA. Very Good.
Caramel malt, earthy, spicy, bitterness is in great balance. A fine find. Really develops fantastic aromas as it rooms up/ gets sipped....Find, enjoy, share, repeat...
Feels -has a healthy body that finishes off nice, bitter and clean enough to be inviting and satisfying...Frog Horn! Will repeat for sure.
