On tap at the LA Beer Week Kickoff Festival held at Exposition Park in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a clear golden-orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, citrus fruit, citrus zest, and metallic aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus fruit, citrus zest, and metallic flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer with odd metallic qualities in both the smell and taste.
Serving type: on tap.

Tried batch 1678 and1866 side by side. Huge batch numbers. Not much noticeable variation. Don't know what to say here- no pleasant hop character or aroma, just bitterness and some soapiness. Not a fan.
