It took some time for me to find this place even it located by the road along the beach. Extra notice is required to find the small signboard hanging in front of. Despite the small entrance, the inside is very spacious and comfortable with 2 floors and many areas to sit.

They brew 2 beers; lager and wheat. The lager is just indifferent but the wheat is pretty good. At least, it is the only one wheat beer brewed and served on-tap in Pattaya. Meanwhile, the selection of bottle beer is quite small. I could recall only 5-6 beers if my memories do not serve me wrong. There are many selections of food both Thai and Western. I ordered pizza and Thai spicy salad. They both were okay.

Overall, the price is not too steep comparing to its walking street location. I will be back there again if I have a chance to go to Pattaya. The reason is that how I can find a quality beer brewed and served on-tap outside this place?

I've resided in Thailand off and on for over 15 years. This place has been there for most of that time. I nearly always drop in for the wonderful ambience, very good pizza and other western dishes that are high quality and reasonably priced. A big bonus is the on site wheat beer that is brewed and served up. It isn't really in the same league as the classics we all know and love, but it is fresh and not bad if a bit too much dry wood barrel flavor and not enough sweetness or florality. That said we always partake of at least 1 of the half liter glasses and it never fails to satisfy.

The copper mash tanks and pipes are right in the restaurant and that plus the traditional German wood beam and mortar thirty foot ceilings make this a true beer and food tabernacle. Throw in a very accomplished and eclectic covers band and it makes for a good night out in Pattaya.

Very extensive and mostly well prepared international menu (German, Italian, Russian, Thai, and seafood). Not much variety as far as beer, two on site brewed types (wheat and lager) and the usual SE Asian factory lager suspects in bottles. Wines and apertifs and so on also available.

Always a fun and relaxed vibe, not formal and severe at all as some pricier places in Thailand can be. Sometimes service is a bit lacking, usual problems in Thailand, you might encounter wait staff who can't be bothered to get your order right or stressed out staff that get offended at some trifle and become rude towards customers, tho this is rare at this place and there is much better service here than is usually encountered in Thailand where it is nearly always problematic to disastrous most nights you eat out or go out drinking. I feel I can count on this place to deliver with a minimum of the usual trauma and outrages many Thai venues think they are entitled to visit upon customers. Overall a very good place and very nice wheat beer.

Many of my friends who live in Pattaya recommended this place to me, and when I visited it, I got their point, why they said this restaurant can really re called one of the greatest places I've seen in Pattaya. First I should notice that the atmosphere there is quite cosy. The waiter came almost immediately and the service is very good. The food and drinks are really not bad: Beerfest is one of the places where you can go when you get tired of the national cuisine and want to have something ordinary. At the same time there is such a big variety of food that no matter how many times you go there every time you can try something new. And, finally, and most importantly, the brewery and beer there is amasebals (: So everyone who want to spend the evening in such a way so he will remember it for a long time must visit Beerfest (:

This place is a bit hard to find, on Beach Road, about 4 blocks from Walking Street. I actually passed it when I was walking by, and had to back track.

From the outside, it dosent look like much, just a small restaraunt with a sign for pizza. The inside is a different story. Wood floors and two fermenters are present. There is a small bar area, and a good amount of seating.

The beer selection is lacking for any self respecting beer bar, but for Pattaya, it is probably the best around. They pour two beers, Lager and Wheat. both are mediocre at best, by still better than the other choices in this city. They served beer in many different sizes all the way up to 3L. The 3L was decently priced at 1000 Baht. They serve Tiger, Chang, and Tsingtao in bottles. They also have a full liquor bar.

They have a few Thai dishes, and about 12 different pizzas. The pizza was decent, and not like most of the pizza you can get in the US, so that was unique. For example, the bacon pizza had no sauce, and the bacon was just strips of bacon.

I ordered a water, and the glass had a dead fly in it. It was hidden by the ice cubes, so i didnt notice it until it touched my lips. That was pretty disgusting, and that significantly lowered its quality in my eyes.

The staff was not informed at all about beer. they were just employees trying to make a living. i cant hate on that. they were, as typical for Thailand, very friendly.

The price was good. for Thailand, it was a little pricy, but everything in Thailand is pretty cheap compared to the US.

Overall: Would I ever go here again? You betcha. there really are no other options in this city. A few "Irish" pubs pouring Guiness. If I ever find myself in Pattaya again, I will definately stop here. Alos, this is a no hastle bar, so you wont be bothered by hookers and street vendors. In most places in this town, you cant go 2 minutes without being bothered.
