Served on cask at the 3rd anniversary party. It is La Cumbre's 2nd anniversary imperial stout aged in wine barrel, then aged another year with cold steeped Kopi Luwak coffe.

A - Black with a tan thick head of foam

S - Tons of coffe, vanilla, chocolate

T - lots of coffee up front, but extremely smooth. Then there is plenty of vanilla, chocolate, roast, a little bit of the wine barrel in there, but pretty muted. In comparison to when the 2nd anniversary came out before the coffee aging, which was a little too much wine barrel for me. This one is really balanced and everything works very well.

M - Served on cask, so mouthfeel is pretty much perfect for a stout like this. Thick, very low carb.

O - Pretty much a home run. Big big coffee beer that manages to balance everything out. Top notch brew, as usual, from La Cumbre. Too bad this one will never see the outside of the brewery.
