Did someone ask for hops? Tired of beers that promise a full lupulin experience, but never deliver more than richly malted bitterness? It’s no secret that this is what we excel at. We’ve been brewing world class IPAs for years. Our flagship is the culmination of a decades worth of studying and brewing. Take a step above and acclimate to what an IPA should be.

I’ve been looking forward to trying this one. I picked up a four pack that is 3 weeks old, cracked open a can and poured it into the best available glass. Beautiful head and lacing, fantastic aroma, this brew is heavy on the dank, musky hops. I also get tons of pineapple, passion fruit, orange marmalade and honey dew. This beer has similar qualities of Fremont’s Sister, although not quite as sweet. For the price and quality, this is top tier and probably the best new beer I’ve tried this year

Look - deep gold, big foamy white head, good lacing
Smell - pine, citrus rind, orange, weed
Taste - Pine resin, pepper, melon, passionfruit
Feel - medium body, moderate carbo, dry finish, bitter
Overall - Hell yeah! 100 IBU's are cumin' atcha. Some harsh bitterness, pepper, pine resin and citrus rind dominate the taste buds. Melon and passionfruit flavors take a bit of the edge off the bitterness. There's more of an orange citrusy smell from the can but in the glass, I get more of the pine, citrus rind and weed. This brew is flat out tremendous! Pairs well with Cumin' Atcha Live by Tesla. Enjoy!

Gifted a 4 pack of 16 oz cans from family in New Mexico. Don't know if it's sold in Colorado but will check it out. Pours a clear gold/orange with a nice foamy white head that settles to a nice white cap. Plenty of lacing as the beer is consumed. I do not have anything close to a refined pallet but I'm getting hints of grapefruit, mango and pine. This is a very smooth product that's a bit hoppy but not so as to put off a casual drinker. Really a thumbs up for me and I'll certainly be carrying some home next time I'm in New Mexico.

I decided to create an account to rate this beer.
One of the nicest pours I’ve ever had. Great head on it. Nice lacing as I drank.
Upon smelling, I took in a good whiff of-what’s that? I smell again. “It can’t be”, I say to myself. One last sniff decides it.
Here it is, and I’ve made sure about a dozen times now. This smells like a very toned down mixture of cat piss and shit. Scouts honor. It’s not stinking up the room, but if I put my nose in the glass…Christ almighty does it stink. I’m no sommelier, but I know when I smell something obviously unpleasant and this has it.
Tastes like an IPA should. I know that if I drink more of this consecutively that my tongue will forget the fainter niceties of a less robust beer, but that’s what I’m looking for tonight.
Crisp mouthfeel, leaving a slight dryness afterward, like low, but present tannins.
Other than that, it’s a decent IPA. I picked this one up because I respect this brewery for their Hefeweizen, which at this point is my favorite in the states. Being in the southwest, the fact that they’re nearby is a plus for emissions reduction. I’m happy that this brewery is near enough to me to feel proud about it.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a good-sized, off-white head of fluffy foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of roasted malt, caramel, citrus fruits and resinous pine. Great citrusy taste with a piney bitterness and malty backbone of caramel and toffee.

Time to continue with the abundance of hoppy beers I’ve accumulated recently, and we have yet another one sent by Snaotheus. This one seems to be a classic from the IBU wars era of IPA, and my first beer from New Mexico! Let’s get into it
Pours a mostly clear orange gold with 3 fingers of creamy off white head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves decent lacing
The nose is certainly bold, but it doesn’t read super bitter as I was expecting. I’m picking up on aromas of pithy grapefruit, orange marmalade, caramel malt, earthy hops, dank weed, toasted grain, lemon zest, light mango, and pine
Surprisingly it’s also rather smooth in taste, hoppy but not really bitter. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting orange zest, white pepper, bready malt, piney hops, pithy grapefruit, mango, and light grass. The swallow brings notes of breasy malt, orange marmalade, piney hops, dank weed, grass, pithy grapefruit, light caramel, and black pepper
A medium body pairs with moderate carbonation, resulting in a crisp beer. Finishes bone dry with a bitterness that develops over time
This is damn solid stuff. Happy to cross another state off of my beer list!

Clear amber color with solid head. BIG aroma, with hoppy tropical and citrus. Taste is not overly bitter but has lots of flavoring hops. Top notch beer.

Yes. Raul finally did it - La Cumbre Elevated. And now I bet you are wondering: did it elevate Raul? You got it! Like Primal Scream Shooting Speed and Killing Light, Raul is feeling good with this one. Georgia O’Keefe on peyote? Maybe not. But what really could take me there? (Candice Swanepoel in a onesie, that’s who - Don’t tell Mrs Raul!) Anyway, it’s a goodie. And Raul feels goodie. And let’s try and be goodie together.
