On tap at the brewery. Deep golden color with decent head and light lacing. Aroma is nicely hoppy with mostly citrus and subtle pine. The pine is a bit stronger in the flavor. Nicely balanced with a good astringent bitterness in the finish. I brought a 4-pack home to CT for my friends to try. Also sent some Tree House beers back to La Cumbre for them to try

Pours a clear, dark amber with a noticeable chill haze. The creamy and dense white head leaves sheets of lace behind.
The aroma is loaded with tropical fruit, pineapple especially with notes of pine, some dankness and a hint of onion/garlic.
Taste is juicy, sweet and bitter. In that order. Lots of orange anf tropical fruit, a deep pith hit and a strongly bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is medium and sticky.

Poured a clear golden color with a good two fingers worth of foamy white head. The nose is all hops with a good combination of pine and citrus. The taste follows the nose as its a punch of hops in the face. You taste the pine but the bitterness is cut down a bit by the citrus fruit flavor that follows closely behind. The feel is medium and well carbonated. This is a wonderful IPA. The hops are definitely the star and you know the IBU's are 100 unlike other I've had that make such a claim. I wish this beer was available where I lived.

Canned 3 weeks ago. Served at 40-42 degrees. Poured into Tulip Pint La Cumbre glass.

Mostly clear and dark golden in color. One finger slightly off-white foamy head that dissipates over about 5 minutes to nice ring and thin foam layer. Great lacing.

Nose is mostly tropical and citrus with some pineapple, mango, grapefruit, and orange zest aromas followed by some dank and piney aromas.

Taste follows the nose with some nice malty flavors as well.

Medium mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and slightly bitter finish.

An excellent IPA.

Courtesy of @OnovoMexicano. Many thanks.
Canned 5/17/16. Only a couple of weeks old. Sweet.
Nice fresh mix of hoppy fruit in the aroma. Represents the new classic character of Am. IPA
Even with a somewhat aggressive pour the head wan't that big. However the off-white cap does show some nice stickiness and covers a clear amber body of brown and orange. Settles out before 1/2 the drink is gone.
The bitterness was not that apparent at first but seems to gain momentum as it opens up and warms. So far not to excess but it becomes a prominent character of the taste. Again a fun and interesting mix of hop flavors. Some fruit, but also grass. No real sweetness.
Soft carbonation creates a fluffiness and makes a comparatively thinner body feel bigger.
This is an enjoyable IPA. I liked the aroma the best but that is not to put down the rest.

16 oz. Can
Canned On: 3/21/16
Best Buy: 6/15/16

Poured into a Rooster's true pint glass, a very nice slightly cloudy dark golden orange color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy two-finger off-white head, which also leaves some very nice thick/creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, with some malt notes, very nice citrus notes, with definitely some pineyness. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a very nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, I've been told that this brewery makes some very nice stuff, well my intro is a very nice brew. If there where some more pineyness, sweetness, chewyness, this would pass for a DIPA, easily. Definitely looking forward to the other's I have from them. Thanks Ben. Recommended!
