Bottle: Poured a fizzy deep black color stout with a thin light brown color head with minimal retention and some light lacing. Aroma of sourness and oak are dominating. Taste is also dominated by some sour notes with loads of oak and some light roasted malt notes. I am pretty sure I would have had a hard time to recognize this has a stout since sourness was so dominating. Body is a bit thin with some good carbonation. I am not sure why previous rating are so low - sour stout? Sure but what do expect when its barreled in oak; DMS - couldn't find any trace of?

Produced and aged in oak barrel.
Black, with mahogany edges. A beautiful hat of a beige, abundant, compact and persistent foam.
Light dark maltiness, some tannic astringency. Fruitiness. Hints of cocoa.
In the mouth it slips away, the body is thin.
Notes of red fruit and cocoa in the front, somr hints of dried fruit and tannin behind.
Quite carbonated on the tongue.
Same notes in the aftertaste. Astringency is evident, and it last for a long time. Again a light cocoa.
