Received 9/8/20 in a Ninja box from @foundersasap. Reviewed 9/12/20. Thanks Jeff!
Date on bottom lip of can “PACKAGED ON 07/28/20”. Stored at home at 42 degrees and served at 45 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter.
Appearance – 4.
First pour – Pale gold (SRM 4), slight haze.
Body – Deep Gold (SRM 6), murky. When held to direct light, hazy and translucent. Unfiltered.
Head – Large (Maximum six cm, aggressive center pour), off-white, high density with a few rocks, average duration, diminishing to an five to eight mm crown with prominences up to 20 mm, and a thick partial cap of varying thickness.
Lacing – Good.
Aroma – 4 – Floral hops followed by a bit of caramelly malt. No yeast.
Flavor – 4 – Taste doesn’t follow nose. Slightly bitter with overtones of pineapple (lacking the acidity) and some generic fruitiness. No alcohol (7% ABV, as marked on the label) taste or aroma. Ends with a bit of dankness. No diacetyl or dimethylsulfide.
Palate – 3.5 – Medium, heading down the road to syrupy, lively carbonation.
Final impression and summation: Rounding up to 4. Palate is a bit too syrupy for an IPA or anything with the tag “farmhouse” IMHO, but otherwise another tasty and interesting brew from Brewery Vivant.

Copper colored with excellent clarity. There’s an inch of tightly packed beige on top. The aroma is faint tropical fruit including lime, lemon, melon, and cantaloupe. I’m tasting lime, lemon, cantaloupe, and melon. The mouth is dry and moderately carbonated.

Single can from brewpub in Grand Rapids.
Pours a very slightly hazy pale amber/orange with a huge puffy off white head.
Aroma is fruity with notes of Belgian yeast and funky hops - orange, peach, pineapple, caramel malt.
Tastes of caramel malt, orange, pineapple, stone fruit - some funky sweetness and just hints of herbal hoppy bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium and carbonation fades through the pour - mainly a bit of grainy sweetness at the finish.
May 9, 2023 Repeat can from brewpub in Grand Rapids - beautiful pour with huge head and nice lacing. Grainy and sweet and a bit fruity funky - minimal bitterness - such a wonderfully deliciously distinct IPA.

From the 16. fl. oz. can without a stamped date. Sampled on September 25, 2019.
The appearance is medium amber with a hint of brass and a slight chill haze. The off-white head is full but fades to a ring. Never dissipates totally.
Many aroma sensations including grapefruit, pineapple, cantaloupe, and a Belgian caramel malt note. Maybe some herbal characters too.
The body is medium and penetrating.
There is an immediately sweetness in the taste but then the zesty grapefruit and pineapple hop notes roll in and bring this to a moderately bitter and slightly tart finale. Better as it warms.

Clear light copper, voluminous off-white head, great retention and sticky lace
Smells like plums, pineapple, and grapefruit
Flavor follows aroma, a bit heavier on the plum, plus a hint of caramel.
A bit stickier than I like in an IPA, but not so different from what was standard 15 years ago
Don't really get any sort of Belgian esters or phenols, so not sure how this is a "farmhouse" IPA, but a nice blend of the malt character of old and flavors/aromas of newer hops
