Our barrel aged house sour beer blended with a fresh farmhouse ale with an unapologetic amount of blueberries, plums, blackberries, and blueberries to create a jammy sensation.

Ordered from Tavour, chilled in the fridge for a couple weeks, poured into a pint glass.
Look: brownish pink pour, finger sized pinkish head and very light white lacing that doesn’t hang very long.
Smell: sour, funky berry smell. The blackberry, plum, raspberry and blueberry is not well defined because the funk is a little much.
Taste: sour and light malt with underlying berry notes that don’t hang in the nose very long. The taste is pretty light and refreshing and not super funky considering the smell is more funky than the taste. The trailing notes are malt/biscuit and light refreshing berry with no hop and no booze.
Feel: Light mouthfeel and heavy carbonation tickle that lingers a while.
When we got this one we were hoping for fruit (they say unapologetically fruit forward), but this is a sour through and through with malty notes and a little funk in the nose. If you like fruity beers with a little funk in the nose but not on the palate, might be good for you.
Cheers everyone!

Pours a dark oink color with a minimal foamy off-white head that lasts quite a while. Aroma is fruit. Tastes like a very fruity sour ale. Good flavour, no bitterness. Good mouth feel.
