Trying the Sgt. Peppercorn with my good friend Gunny at our local tap house. The beer poured a nice clear copper with thin white head that is not leaving much of a lace. The scent is pretty faint....subtle caramel malt touch of spice. The taste is a well balanced beer that start somewhat sweet then finishes with a nice pepper flare. The mouthfeel is medium in body with god carbonation. Overall a nice seasionable beer.

On tap poured into a tulip glass.

A: Pours a clear light copper color with a finger of white head.

S: Belgian yeast in here banana and clove. Ground peppercorns.

T: Sweet rye malt. Banana and some light caramel. Peppercorns add just a hint of spice, not overpowering spot on.

M; Good carbonation. Slightly thin
