I wasn't wild but it was a good beer.
Here's what the brewer had to say...
This is a classic Munich Bock that is dry hopped with noble hops and lagered (stored for 4-6 months). The beer combines a rich malty taste and aroma hops to make a truly unique lager.
I might have to keep these two stouts on tap year round based on the feedback especially from the women.

A: Pours translucent, cloudy gold with a single finger width, white, bubbly head sitting on top. Leaves a good amount of lacing behind.
S: Not much of a scent at first, but smells emerge as the beer warms a little bit. Sweet malt and grape are eventually present, making it remind me a little bit of a wine.
T: Like the smell, the taste starts off kind of bland, but begins to present itself as the beer warms. There's a hint of fruitiness and grain at the onset which transitions to more malt with a slight undercurrent of hops. Tastes are a little muted, but it strikes an okay balance by the end.
M: Medium-bodied, though with a fair bit of crispness. Goes down well.
I wasn't too enthusiastic when I first tried it out of the growler, but it becomes a pretty solid beer. It just takes a few minutes.
