A-dark cloudy chestnut with a thin cream colored head. dark for the style.
S-light honey and creamy malts. faint scent.
T-comes in with a strong and syrupy taste of dark honey and grains. the alcohol is actually fairly evident. the tastes are faint but this is still harsh. this is definitely an amateur effort.
M-syrupy. light carbonation with a syrupy finish
O-this is a terrible example of the style. it tastes like a homebrew that went wrong. this actually tastes very little like any other oktoberfest that i've had. it was way too dark and syrupy and not something i want a lot of, or ever ever again.

Arrives a very dark orange/dark amber color with a decent head of off-white foam. Some scattered lacing.
Smell is a good balance of hop and malt a slight citrusy note floating around.
Taste is a nice citrusy hops with a solid malt backbone. Some caramel as well. A slight oak note as it warms.
Fairly rich and almost full-bodied wih a solid medium effervescence. Good as it warms, too. Good brew.
