On tap at the brewpub in January 2016

A light-medium yellow-gold in color, this lager already shows more than the typical straw yellow color most of its counterparts possess. It's got a tight, creamy layer of head that rests on top and puts down spotting and legging.
While plenty malty with lots of creamy sweetness, a touch of grains, and some fruits, there's also some pretty good grassy and leafy hops, particularly considering the style. There's a little must / earth as well and some floral notes from the hops as well. Laid out against others of its kind, this beer has much more flavor and depth.
While the body is light, there's some substance to it. It's semi-sweet overall but with a bit of additional dryness from hops keeping it from cloying. It's moderately crisp and plenty smooth as well as pretty clean.

Bottle from the brewery. Your basic lager. Nothing to look at,medium yellow. Neutral smell to say the best. Average mouthfeel, above average carbonation. Not very drinkable, but passable just not interesting.Macro beer subsistitute. Better stuff is brewed here.

Many thanks to csmiley for the bottle.

Appearance: It's very clear and pours a light golden color. It's more colorful than it's macro colleagues, but only above average. Head is foamy white and about a finger deep. It dissipated quickly and left spotty lacing lining the glass.

Smell: It's light on the nose. Not uncommon for the style. Is it possible to make a macro lager smell good? It's got a nice, caramel malt base and smells sweet. It's grainy and earthy. It's lightly hopped, but hops are noteable. Pretty impressive for a macro style lager. That pretty much wraps it up.

Taste: Caramel malts easily take top billing. They're sweet and have a pretty good flavor. Hops are present and floral in character. It's lightly hopped, so their presence is barely noticeable. For this style, I'll take it. It's grainy and has a very earthy and floral taste. It's very straight and uncomplicated. For the style, it's definitely above average.

Mouthfeel/Drinkability: It's light bodied and carbonated pretty. Feels a bit watered down. It's easy drinking, but not very appetizing in the process. Drinkability is pretty good, especially for the style. It doesn't taste good enough to warrant more than a couple. But, it's doable.

Ringneck did a pretty decent job. For a macro style, it's alright. It suffers from some of the same flaws the macros do, but not to the same degree. It's worth a try. Gotta love the name too.

Classic crystal clear golden lager with very little head leaving only a spotty white film on top.

Sweet bready pear, light lemon, and very fruity butter waft off the glass.

A different sort of lager, with raisin and grape characteristics somehow being showcased, with a very sweet corn element.

This is easy to drink, but not necessarily thoroughly enjoyable. A bit tingly, but also a little boring after a while, although it must be said, this is many number of steps up from a typical AAL.

This is definitely not a bad little lager. There’s light citrus and straw malt. It's even a bit floral in the aroma. The light gold color seems to contrast with the decent flavor. It’s very drinkable without being very boring. It's quite tasty, actually.

Ringnecks attept to please the masses is this macro style lager.

Appearance: nice amber color with 1/4" head that reduced to lacing

Smell: nothing impressive here.

Taste: Poor... I think Miller Lite has more taste than this.

Mouthfeel: Not smooth at all.

If you ever go to the Brew Kettle, you are better off drinking water that drinking this beer.

Draft sampled at The Brew Kettle in Strongsville, OH. Review from notes.

Pours clear and very yellow. White head. Sort of difficult to pick up on the aroma. Taste is light, sweet malts and almost wine-like (think Gewürztraminer). Interesting to say the least, and a bit of a departure from the average "helles" lager. Feel is resinous, and the finish is bitter and sweet. Easily drinkable, as expected. My glass blew the keg, so I'm glad to have tried it.
