A- Pours a dark reddish brown color with just a few bubbles on top. Not too much lacing either the bubbles hang around the entire time too.
S- Smells pretty sweet overall and very good. Caramel malts, a touch of smoke, a bit of earthy hops and some alcohol here.
T- Its almost like drinking two beers here. First starts off just like a doppelbock and finish like a scotchish ale. Sweet caramel and toffee, smoke, and the alcohol is here for sure.
M- Fuller side of medium in body and carbonation was probably on the lighter side.
D- I think this one was probably the high light of my trip to the Brew Kettle. Very easy to drink.

On tap at the Brew Kettle. $3.75 for a snifter of a 10.2% beer? Sign me up!
Dark amber/brown with no head. Still the beer looks decent, would love to see more head retention but I get it's a high ABV.
Smell is awesome. Caramel malt gives impressions of some earthy aromas as well as some smoke. Hops are present as well, but add very nicely to this one.
Taste is also quite nice. Sweet caramel and toffee malts with a clean lager finish. Smoked meat. Not campy, more meaty. Peat and wood give it depth. Noticible alcohol is the only big flaw, but it's not distracting or too boozy.
Mouthfeel is GREAT. Nice viscosity on this one, def. a medium to heavy body, but the carb and the clean finish make it feel lighter.
At $3.75, this is a must try. I would happily order it again, I enjoyed this one!
