Bottle.

A - Hazy amber with good carbonation and a two finger dense off-white head. Good lace rings and a half finger retention.

S - Candied pineapple. Sweet malt. Diacetyl.

T - Diacetyl in the finish. Lot's of candy and minimal sweet fruity hops. Honestly, very little going on for an IPA. Tons more malt than expected and very little explosive hop character. Sweet malt all the way through.

M - Good bitterness, medium carbonation, medium body.

O/D - If you're gonna write "malt, take a back seat please" on your bottle, it probably shouldn't be malty. This there was some initial fruity hops, it's just not enough for the style and the diacetyl is obviously showing. I will not finish this. Likely a bad bottle, but it's what I have in front of me.

L: Ironic name given that this pours a dark muddy Amber. Really not an attractive beer.

S: Piney and malty.

T: Malty but with a curious sort of lightness and hop quality to it.

F: Pretty standard IPA

O: Overt malt character is not my cup of tea, but still pretty good.

Pint at the Winking Lizard Cleveland
Slightly hazy orange amber with a decent tightly bubbled off white head that persists. citrus and tropical with plenty of pine and a bit of biscuity malt to counter. Pretty tasty.

Bought this IPA on my trip to Toledo, OH last year.

Excellent example of a well thought out IPA. Excellent aromatics. You can really pull the citrus notes out s well as tropical fruits. Hard for me to pinpoint which one but almost mango-like. Nice balance of sweet to bitter. Bronzish/copper in color on the pour.

I look forward to OH again.

Nice to be in Ohio so that I can great get the White Rajah and Hop Ju Ju. A very nice IPA with nice bitterness and citrus flavors. A little rougher than the Hop Ju Ju but I like bitter and aggressive. This is that. Have only had in a bottle so hard to see the color but nice aroma. Will pick up another 6 pack when I see it again in the store.
