Picked up a single as a gift from my local beer store. Was told it was bottled 8/2/17. Thank you Joe.

Pours to a one finger head, light gold color with good clarity.

Grapefruit and pine coupled with sugary cereal smells. Some lemon, orange, and a bit of apricot. A lot going on.

First taste i notice the apricot first along with orange flavors. The hops carry a decent bitterness which is kept in check by fruiry candy like sweetness, jolly rancher like. Taste not as citrusy as the nose suggested.

Medium bodied and lower carbonation. A touch syrupy and slight lingering bitterness.

Overall a very good IPA. Smell was excellent but the taste didn't follow all the way thru. I'd buy this often if it was available locally and affordable.

Poured from the tap into a pint glass.
It has a golden color with a finger of white head. You smell caramel malts together with the piney hops. The taste has some citrus with the carmel malts.
The finish is a nice citrus hop that is not overpowering. The carbonation was balanced. I really enjoyed this one.

no bottling date on 12oz bottle. thought I caught some numbers on the case box saying beginning of June.

Appearance- a hardy pour into a pint glass it's a transparent straw color with a frothy white head. leaves some lacing.

Aroma- super citrus/ pine hop action. smells of cascade amped to hell. really solid.

Taste- hops are the showcase for sure. has a bitterness to some I could see saying it's too much. very light caramel malt in the background but mostly citrusy grapefruit and pine blast all over this brew.

Mouthfeel- medium/ light bodied. kinda silky. good carbonation.

Drinkability- shoulda grabbed another six of this when I was in Cleveland.

Overall- this beer is a super solid ipa with old school hops. no tropical fruits. no super new hop everyone wants just because it's new. it's grapefruit and pine not pineapple and mango and papaya ect.

Having this on-tap. Served to me in a pint glass, this beer draws a clear, medium golden color with an amber hue and a white head that's about 2/3 of an inch thick when first poured. Settles eventually to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass. Aromas of some toasted, bready caramel malts and citrusy, piney hops. The taste is pretty much the same, with somewhat toasted, fairly bready, caramel malts that have some sweetness that's followed by big citrus and piney hop bitterness. While the malt flavors make their presence know, the hop bitterness is certainly the dominant flavor here. And that's just fine. Has a fairly crisp, mainly smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. As a clean finish along with a fairly dry aftertaste. The bitterness longer nicely on the palate for a long time after each sip. Easy to drink in a good way. Worth a try to say the least. Hope heads will enjoy this one. I know I sure am.

Easily one of the best beers I have had in Ohio, and deserving of its 'world class' rating.

There's nothing to criticize here. I try to drink this out of a tulip or a wine glass, just so that I can really take in the nose, which is all tropical---mostly I get mango and grapefruit. Those work out on the palate too, with lots of bitter hops backed by fruit, some complex (almost savory) malt, and a touch of dankness. The beer feels nice on the palate, looks great for the style, and just ticks all the boxes for me.

It'll be hard to drink anything immediately after---this beer packs a real flavor punch, and most that follow will seem tepid by comparison.
