Easily one of the best IPAs I've had.

Sometimes the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

This beer is just crafted so well. It isn't all citrus and fruit juice like a lot of the descriptions convey. There is a biscuity, crackery crispness to this beer than makes it stand out from your typical IPA, but it's full of pineapple and some nice, clean dankness as well.

When all of these pieces come together, it's truly a refreshing, unique brew.

Dark amber color, slightly cloudy. Full aromatic hop nose -- sets the stage for a taste that does not disappoint. Strong citrus hops, grapefruit flavor -- exactly what I hope to find in a WC IPA. A nice bitterness that lingers long after swallow. Appropriate carbonation.

One of my favorites. Even though it is not available locally, I try to maintain a small stock of this gem in my beer fridge. Props to the bartender at Brews in Granville, Ohio who recommended this one.

Consumed 12/3/15

A: Golden orange with honey highlights - nicely clear, some light chill haze - pours with a medium sized, bright white head, fades to a few wisps, maintains a small collar, leaves some nice streaks of lacing

S: In a word, citrus - well-rounded citrus aroma, with some orange slices, grapefruit flesh, citrus zest, pith - very floral , some herbal notes - big, resinous pine notes - no malts to speak of, other than a touch of light bread - some alcohol aroma

T: Resinous, with straight-up hops - orange and grapefruit flesh, oil, rind, and pith - floral and herbal, with a touch of grass - very resinous, with some leafiness - above-average level of bitterness, straight-up aspirin - lightly earthy but mostly clean -touch of pale malts and some crackers - some booze flavor

M: Medium body, oily smooth, medium carbonation, finishes with some more oil

O: Wait, White Rajah isn't a Witbier?

I thought I already reviewed this one a few year ago, but I have no record of it. Reviewing this is a bit odd because it's decidedly straightforward. This is an aggressively hopped IPA with a complete emphasis on the hops. The alcohol is oddly apparent to me, but otherwise it's very nice.
