IPAs can be overpowering with their hoppiness and that is off-putting for some beer drinkers including me. This beer is probably the easiest to drink IPA I've had. There's hop but it's like its name; Fantasyland because it's not overpoweringly hoppy. Perfect for a hot summer day which it is today, with temps in the high 90s. Pours light amber with generous head, citrusy but like the hops, not overpowering. A refreshing brew.

16oz can
thanks Ken!
L: slightly hazed golden-copper body, tall & persistent foamy ivory head
S: pineapple, tangerine, mango
T: piney mango, tangerine, pineapple, light caramel malt
F: medium body, ample carbonation, balanced finish
O: good IPA; I swear I’ve had it before, but maybe not

Good look in the glass. Decent aromas. But it tastes far from an IPA. Hard to find any hop character over a very malty, creamy base.
Not bad, but doesn’t really seem to be an IPA.

12 oz bottle, light orange -copper color with a white frothy head, nice lacing. Clean citrus-pine aroma, light bodied with a strong hop profile. 6% Alcohol, too light an IPA for my liking.

Pours clear golden orange. Smells of sweet malt with citrus. Tastes of carmel mostly. The hops follow on the backend but it seems nowhere near the reported ibu. Very Midwestern. St. Louis beers are mostly disappointing with a few exceptions. If your looking for an ipa this will disappoint. Would not buy again. At least urban Chestnut has the integrity to put a bottled on date, I'll give them that. But like most st Louis breweries, this seems to be marketing to the crowd that drinks mass produced lagers and not craft beer folk. If i was only drinking corona, this might open my eyes to other possibilities and maybe that is good for Budweiser people, but i find it boring for an ipa.
