The American Lager, once the workhorse beer in American breweries everywhere, is often shunned in the modern beer scene. Urban Underdog may be overlooked, but we think this crisp, refreshing beer will earn your adoration. After all, everyone loves a scrappy underdog.

16oz can dated "23-10-13" and poured into a tall Becker shows a bright, clear yellow-gold body and supports a 1.5" proud head of mixed white bubbles that falls to a persistent 1/4" cap and leaves copious webbed lacing.
Complex aroma includes grass, honey, crackery malt, and floral notes.
Flavor matches and leans sweet, especially so with the nearly creamy feel, yet the floral hops keep it in check.
As for mouthfeel, I expect a bit more crispness, bite in a lager. This is too smooth and as I noted, nearly creamy. The finish is wet but not sticky, leaving a clean palate.
Overall a very nice lager.

16oz can pours a rich golden yellow color with a substantial amount of fizzy white-colored head that fades down to a still thick but much reduced layer on top while leaving chunky lacing. Smells of adjuncts, pale malts, a bit of hops, a bit of apple. Light malt flavor with an unmistakable corn flavor, a light apple note, and a strange and funky hop flavor that has a very unpleasant herbal-grass-earth note about it that rounds out the flavor very offensively. Light to medium body with a small bitterness and a moderately bubbly but still fairly smooth carbonation mouthfeel. Feels crisp before the hops and more creamy at the finish.
This was an OK American Lager, but it's not very unique or notable, and the strange and unpleasant hop flavor really brings it down. Won't buy again.

Pours an effervescent straw color with 2+ fingers of fluffed up eggshell colored head. Traces of head retention & lacing
S: Traces of citrus & grassyness, sweet grainy notes once warm
T: Lime, grassyness, some soft sweet grainy/cereal notes & dryness up front. Dryness, grassyness & just a touch of sweetness as this beer warms up, just a kiss of lime. Finishes dry, a little sweet & a touch of lemon
MF: Light/medium body, delicate carbonation. Skews a little sweet & the body is a little too thin for me
Was hoping for more better, the sweetness & lack of body, just don't quite do it for me. I'd just a soon have a Bud Light

Pours a clear light golden color with a sudsy white head, grass and cracker notes with a nice dollop of lemon dominate the nose.
The grassy and lemon flavors are forward on the taste and delicious, with the cracker flavor at the back of the palate, and a medium, crisp mouthfeel. Really good beer.

A thanks to the amazing woodychandler for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. I'm not feeling the pull off top of this can. Has a bright yellow color with a 2 inch head. Smell is of lemons, some sweetness. Taste is lemons, malts, a touch of honey. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a highly refreshing beer.

Somewhat cloudy pale gold with a solid white head. Biscuit, and honey malts with some floral hop kisses. Taste took on more of the macro cereal but stayed bready enough to appeal, hops are nonexistent. Super crushable with some malt depth to play with, good depiction of style in the feel for sure.

16oz can, dated 2020-02-06. Golden bodied beer with a slight chill haze, frothy white head fades quickly. Aroma is pale grain and grassy/spicy hops. Typical flavors for the style: pale malt that is a bit grainy and nutty, faint cerealy corn, floral/grassy/spicy hops add a very slight bitterness. Lighter body, ample carbonation, and a balanced finish. A good easy drinking beer!

Sparkling clear gold with a moderate white foam head dying to a thin spotty film.
Crisp but light, this is very reminiscent of Coors Light, and not in a good way. It brings grassy yet metallic notes to the table, pairing with light corn and white grape.
The medium-light body's crispness froths up to its semi-dry finish, but its kind of forgettable. I don't know whether or not making a beer reminiscent of Coors is good for sales to the masses in the long run, but it's not good to me, giving off a lower quality feel than many of the other lagers I've had recently.
I found it worth noting that shortly after this, I had their #6 Classic, which as opposed to Coors Light, actually reminded me of Miller Lite. It checks out, then, that I enjoyed #6 more, because when my options are limited to macros, Miller is my go to.
