16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a good-sized, rocky head of off-white foam. It receded to leave sticky patches of lace. It smelled of biscuity malt, toasted bread and some citrus notes. Sweet bready malt with toffee, caramel and a citrusy bitterness.

16 oz pours a clear light copper color, decent size white foamy head, light grainy and citrus aromas, balanced malt and hop flavors. Light to medium body with a watery and somewhat thin mouthfeel, finishes with a mild bitterness. Very drinkable.

From a white can, this brew is a light copper color, with just a slight haze and a thick, stable, white head. The aroma is simple and straightforward...a bit of malt and clean grass-like hops. The taste is balanced. Somewhat on the dry side, with a firm bitterness. Just a sold and simple pale ale.

Copper colored and there’s a significant amount of fine sediment within the body. There a half inch of creamy beige on top. The aroma is of faint light malt and even fainter grassy hops. I’m tasting lightly bready malt with a touch of grassy hops. The mouth is fairly even keeled and fitting for the style.

i do indeed always love an underdog. poured from the 16oz pop top can into a pint glass, just a few weeks old. fairly clear light orange/gold brew with a finger or so of a head that has left some sticky lacing all around. nose is a nice balance of bready, caramel-y malts and earthy, slightly citrus hops. pretty classic pale ale profile with a nice bit of spice. it tastes similar but with a bigger citrus influence, lots of grapefruit over a sweet caramel base, lightly bitter and spiced with a bit of toast sitting underneath. drinks nicely, a little thinner than i want but crisp and leaves a nice warm citrus coating behind.
