I was persuaded to buy a bottle of this at a supermarket by my friend. Let's see how this goes. On to the beer:

This beer is pale straw in color, but the sparkling carbonation found in the body is fun to look at, and the semi-frothy head doesn't hurt either. The aroma is too sweet, too much like cornbread with syrup. The taste too is quite sweet, full of corn syrup like qualities. There's a pinch of booze and notes of wood to be found. The overall flavor isn't my favorite, and it's too heavy and cloying in the mouth and aftertaste. This is the kind of lager that gives beer the reputation of "filling you up".
