6 oz draft pour at Neo Pizza in Annapolis. Pours a straw yellow color. Aroma and flavor feature light biscuit malt, a touch of bread dough, grassy/floral hops, with light bitterness and hint of citrus rind. Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated and creamy; not thin or watery. Overall very flavorful and a pleasure to drink.

Bottle at event. Golden clear body, small head.Grain flavors and aromas throughout. Not enough hops on the back to real click in the pils category. Close but no cigar

On tap at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like herbal hops, lemon rind, and a sweet-ish malt character.
This has a very nice crispness to it, and a tasty hop character overall, but it finishes just a little bit too sweet in the end.
This is crispy, clean, and very drinkable.
This is solid if maybe also unexceptional.

A straightforward Czech Pilsner that is easy drinking but a bit sweet to my taste. Hopping is herbal noble character with bready pils malt notes but kind of mid-pack for me.

April 11th, 2016 - Port City? Downright Pilsner? The marketing team needs to get on this one, but there's no confusion about exactly what kind of beer this is once the bottle cap is off. The scent is bright and telltale of pilsner, with a slight corn touch, but not much. It is, on the whole, clean and appealing. The palate has some of that micro-bubbliness that helps to clean the palate on a how day, but not overly aggressive. In fact, this pilsner feels to be someone lighter, with a lingering aftertaste. Pleasant, and like a pils light.

From a 12oz bottle. Golden color with white head. Cracker and floral hop smell. Medium body, much heavier than expected for a pilsner. Tastes of light malt with some floral/grassy hops. Enjoyable, but not exactly what I expected from the name.

Nice pilsner. Served on tap at the pub in a pils glass. Golden colored ale with a few fingers of soapy, clingy foam. Aromas of bread and cracker, and herbal, grassy hops. Malt flavor comes through, with a big peppery bite on the finish.

its is almost unfair of me to even review this beer, after a bottle got lost in the collection for literally years, but i am surprised how well it has held up, not that thats real relevant to most people, who probably drink the whole sixer the day or two after they buy this, but its obvious that it has some real merit, even this dated. i vow to try this fresh when i get the chance, but i still enjoyed the whole beer thoroughly. aside from the obvious oxidation, there is a nice malt base to this, a shade darker and a level bigger feeling than a lot of these, but its still not heavy or sweet, just slightly more substantial in its structure. the yeast crisps it up nice, and the finish is fast and dry even though the malt is very flavorful. if this was ever hoppy, it isnt anymore, but the beer still shows impressive balance, there is light bitterness at the end, which is all that is needed, as this is rather dry. obviously i need to try this fresh, but i can tell i am going to like it when i do get the chance. i have pretty much liked all the beer i have had from these guys so far.

Pours golden, lightly hazy, soap white head. It's chewy, with some earthyness. Crisp and not full bodied. Finish is rice lager like. It's interesting enough, but the finish isn't super pleasant. Perhaps, this will grow on me.

On tap at brewery:
Clear, light golden body; full cap of white head drops to a nice medium cap with tons of lacing.
Nose is slightly floral, with sweet, white bread malt notes. A hint of grassy bitterness is noted.
Similar to the nose, but with a bit of generic fruitiness joins the floral, balanced by a slightly more aggressive grassy bitter hop influence. Feel is light and fairly crisp.
Not as bitter as other Czech Pilsners, and missing a bit of a peppery bite. Seems like it could be a cross of a German and Czech, based on my own interactions with other beers in both styles.
