A true New England IPA loaded with hoppy citrus and tropical fruit flavors sitting on a cloudy backdrop of light malt. Bitterness is intentionally low to accentuate the intricate flavors of the hops and promote a "juicy" character.

Grapefruit and hops...two of my fave flaves. The original Four Seam is a beer I’ll drop what I’m doing to go purchase when my local places get it in stock, and the Galaxy variant is every bit as good. Pours beautiful yellow-orange, foamy white head, smells great, pleasantly fizzy, tastes like a top notch NEIPA juice bomb. This is an outstanding beer.

Lemon, lime, pine, grapefruit, melon and orange zest. Cracker malt profile. Lower carbed. Light to medium bodied. Prickly citrus bitterness up front, gives way to a rounded soft sweetness. Really good.

L - Beautiful murky orange with a finger of white head
S - Bursting with grapefruit, pineapple, oranges, and dank hop juice
T - Just as flavorful as the aroma. Intense dank hops with grapefruit and orange sherbet. Bitter thud on each sip and a finish of pineapple and dankness.
F - Creamy texture and no alcohol. Insane drinkability. Body is a little thinner than I'd like.
O - Amazing, AMAZING Galaxy IPA. Just as good as New England's best (if not better), but this is easier to acquire. If this was a TH or Trillium beer, you'd be blowing up the trade forums trying to get it.

Drank from a 1 pint can purchased at Craft Beer Cellar, Roslindale, MA

Served in a tulip
A frothy, fluffy, inch-tall, bright white crown topped the cloudy, straw yellow body. The head quickly fell to a clingy collar. Minimal spotty lacing stuck along the glass.
The aroma was outstanding. Super fruity and bright. Tropical fruits came through big time. Loads of overripe guava and papaya. Strong mango notes too. Really juicy and sweet. Citrus notes were also apparent. Bit of chalky yeastiness.
The flavor was also really impressive, though not quite as punchy or as complex and the nose. Juicy citrus notes dominated. Freshly squeezed orange juice came to mind. Some tangerine as well. Moderately tart and tangy. Pineapple was also noticeable. Tart, wheaty and lemony in the center. The lemon notes intensified on the back end. More tart, citrusy tanginess and just a bit of rind-like pith and bitterness on the finish.
The mouthfeel was medium bodied and contained a fizzy, zippy effervescence. A bit nondescript perhaps. The liquid fluffed up nicely as it moved along the palate.
As much as I enjoyed Idle Hands’s Six Seam, I thought Galaxy Four Seam was even better. This is an outstanding New England-style IPA that definitely rivals some of the better offerings from Trillium and Tree House. Thankfully, this beer is substantially easier to acquire.
