The Idle Hands Brewery is close to a T stop. I made multiple trips to pick up cans. The selection may be limited but the quality is very high. I tend to love the NE IPA and other hoppy styles but Idle Hands introduced me to their sours. I look forward to my next visit.

Cool spot in a nice area. Has a good small brewery vibe and I can imagine it gets lively on weekends. Service from the female bartender was typical blue collar Boston...cold and boring. Cheer up. Selection was good, both on-tap and carry-out. Pricey, but that’s expected for the area. Not bad.

Open room with a bunch of tables and a large bar. Central opening in the bar to order brews. We grabbed bar stools. Busy but not packed on a Friday night (EBF weekend).

They had a food vendor set up in the corner, excellent bratwurst.

They offer flights, sample pours and full pours. Everything we tried was high quality. The staff was friendly and attentive. The head brewer was behind the bar and did a great job helping us and explaining how some of the brews were made. He also provided excellent descriptions to the bottles they were offering to go.

Standouts were Six Grain (last keg of the year), Adelais and Helga. But we enjoyed all of the offerings.

Will be one of my top choices for stops while in Boston.

Loved everything but their pricing - 7.50 for a pint compared to <$5 for the equivalent can seems excessive and would prevent me from going frequently but still a great spot with great beer.

Great chill, industrial, space. I especially loved all the beer steins at the bar. Just cool to look at, if I ever meet the owner I'll have to ask where they all come from. The place was also very clean and had a great growler, tall boy, to-go option right at the bar. Personally, I think they have the best IPA, not overly hoppy and great citrusy undertones, right up my ally! All their beers were good though, highly suggest checking them out.

When last I visited it was a bit of an odd hour (just as they were opening for the day) so only bartender who was a bit pre-occupied with getting things ready for the shift. Nothing wrong with that, but I would've loved to have chatted it up with her, ah well, next time :-)

The place is pretty nice. High ceilings pretty spacious taproom. The beers are very solid and true to style. The selection is good. The vibe is chill and the staff is great. Definitely worth checking out.
