Off the tap at the brewery. One finger of head on a cloudy straw colored body. The aroma was all grain and lemon, which was nice. The taste was balanced and rounded mixture of lemon and a healthy dose of malt. The texture was softer with moderate carbonation. A BIG and drinkable ale.

golden body hints of red and orange when held up to light. Well balanced, lots of hops and malt..real good mouthfeel, looks at least slightly unfiltered. Medium mouthfeel with low-medium carbonation..Tropical hops, roasted malts and detecting even a little chocolate malt..8%abv hidden. interesting enough, and a crowd pleaser. Serve with bbq, cold-sandwiches, summer/spring food, hot wings, pulled pork sliders, mango salsa. Good price point @$4.50 a bomber.

Canned 02/16/18

Appearance - Pours clear and bright orange in color with an eggshell white, finger width head. Fantastic retention that refuses to die, sitting a good half finger 20 minutes after pouring undisturbed. Strong lacing that consists of broken sheeting that breaks down into webbing, chunks and small spotting.

Smell - Strong, sweet maltiness that hits mainly on honey. Lesser toasted character. Mild floral hoppiness.

Taste - Follows the nose. Mild flavors that offer notes of honey and lightly toasted malt, while hops offer a touch of floral qualities. Fair caramel flavor emerges as the beer warms. Not much change from start to finish, but a hint of booze does comes through in the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fluffy carbonation. Velvety smooth drinker with a slightly dry finish.

Overall - Light, relatively easy drinker that surprises you with the hefty 8% abv. It actually drinks too light; a more flavorful punch would actually be welcomed. Imperial blonde would be the most apt description, IMO.

Pours a light copper color with whitish head dissipating into moderate lacing. Nose is sweet ,toasty malt with a hint of floral hops. Taste follows with notes of honey and caramel and more malt. Fairly smooth and easy to drink. A decent strong ale.

A malty ale, low on the bitterness. A big, flavorful beer with both sweet citrus notes, but neither cloying nor heavy. Darker than a blonde but not quite an amber. If it were any cloudier, it would look unfiltered. Excellent on tap, very good in the can.

Poured a pint off a fresh keg at Beach Hut Deli. A great example a red ale. Very balanced with a moderate amount of carbonation. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
