Welcome to the future. Our collective human consciousness, or Ghost in the Machine, has gained a tolerance for hops beyond what mankind has ever known before. This double India Pale Ale is the necessary outcome. Brewed with obscene quantities of hand-selected Citra hops from our favorite farm in Yakima Valley, WA. Expect pungent grapefruit aromas and flavors, tropical fruit, and less harsh bitterness than most IIPAs.

12 oz. bottle poured into tulip
("manifested on 3/26/21" printed on bottle neck)
L: turbid yellow, almost like pineapple juice, topped with a thick head of white foam almost an inch thick that sticks and laces some; keeps a full collar of foam and most of a skin; it's about as "craft" looking as it gets
S: a strong pineapple-grapefruit aroma hits you as you pour; green onion, green grass, sweet onion also mix in, but the oniony note is more a suggestion than anything, for it's mostly a grapefruit bomb; some orange, very sweet, perhaps a bit bready, but the barley malt seems to be adding sweetness more than adding an actual bready note; it's as close to perfect as it gets, the only tick against it is that it might be too sweet for a hop-head's pleasure; at times the sweetness subsides a bit and allows for a full connection with the green/citrusy hop aromas; if a green onion candy existed, it would smell like this
T: much earthier than the nose, sliding into a grapefruit peel flavor as opposed to grapefruit; still, it has enough sweetness to keep from becoming dirt bitter; in fact, there's so much malt in there that the hops never get crazy bitter
F: thick but juicy, medium-to-light carbonation, the effect is almost cask-like, perhaps a bit crunchier than that but it's got a nice soft-crisp mix
O: if the flavor followed the nose a bit closer, it would be arguably perfect; as it is, it's a tasty brew with a deft touch by the brewer getting loads of hop flavor into the liquid without it becoming so bitter it rips off your face; personally, I'd like a bit more bitterness, but I'm also not complaining and will put this one high on my list of American IPAs when I need another hop fix

It pours orange-yellow with a white head. It has excellent retention. There are resinous elemeints up front with pine and papaya.

Aroma was off a bit when poured from a can dated 4/2026 but it’s smooth with classic hazy ipa color. Not picking up the tropical notes much but it’s good and I would go back for more out and about.

Exceptionally well balanced, tasty 2x "NE kinda" ipa with thick haze, great fruity/juicy/melony/slightly tropical flavor & such a dangerously smooth fooler of an 8.5%er that drinks like much less! Zero dank/bitterness for 100ibus. Hint of orangey aftertaste. You'll always remember your first Ghost in the Machine!

Nice bittering that doesn’t linger. In other words not astringent!

Pours glug glug into my nonic opaque orange with a sturdy creamy head. Aroma is lemony, passion fruit , orange rind. Taste follows with some grapefruit, peaches, some light funk. Feels creamy , soft. Buzzy carbonation, very mild smack in the finish. Very tasty and I’m glad I can try this!
