This beer is available at almost every grocery store down in Louisiana and it's almost always super fresh. This stuff is a hazy, crushable, juicy, BANGER. Zombie Dust who?

This new recipe is great. It really is a baby ghost. Same light mouthfeel as ghost with mellowed out hops. When this is fresh, it equals or surpasses the likes of zombie dust or psuedosue. And it being readily available makes it that much better! A beer to get you through the time in between Ghost in the Machine releases.

Appearance: Arrives slightly hazy, the pale amber liquid capped by an impressively sturdy head; patches of lacing cling

Smell: Floral and filled with tropical fruit tones, citrus and mango being most prominent

Taste: The bright, juicy flavors burst forward, bringing grapefruit and mango tones; through the middle, there is a honeyed sweetness that joins the fruit flavors that carries through the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: I was looking for Ghost but I found Envie; not a bad trade-off as I was very happy to find an APA of this calibre to drink in NO

I grabbed the 07/5/16 bottled Envie. Wow. This beer is one juicy son of a gun. The hop smell enveloped my bar. Poured orange and super hazy with quite a bit of particulates in it. Not much bitterness. Mostly sweet fruity hops come to the forefront. Six of these for ten dollars and being readily available also adds to my score. If zombie Dust gets 100 then this should be up there. This is the beer to beat.

Pours hazy, gold in color with 3/4 inch head. Taste is pale malt, tangerine, and lemon. Light bodied and slightly bitter. Best Parish beer that I have yet. Fruity and tasty. I could have several of these in warmer months.

Straw to Mountain Dew Green in color with a hazy complexion. There's a fingernail of off white covering most of the top. The aroma is comprised of piney to slightly vegetal hops. The taste has definitely more of the vegetal to piney hops in the forefront along with some light malt to back it up. The mouth is fairly smooth and crisp.

Ahh....the new and improved Envie gets its own rate/review! This newer version is certainly a hopped-up APA. Super easy to drink, great hoppy flavors. Much improved over the old one, though I liked it as well.

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a hazy burnt orange to copper color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Slight lace ran here and there, somewhat messy.
The aroma had some sweet tropical fruits over top of some semi-herbal to earthy sort of low key hops. Low amount of bitterness with a little bit of dankiness.
The flavor was fairly danky sweet, onion to the tropical to the herbal/earthy sort of mellow quality sliding in for a balanced arrangement. Semi-smooth onion to tropical sweet aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt as appropriate.
Overall, as an APA it does pretty well. As an enjoyable all around beer, it was well worth my time and extremely grateful to be able to try.

Parish changed the recipe of Envie in early 2016, and the difference is staggering. What was a good beer before has taken the next step to world class. It pours a hazy golden yellow. The aroma is a fantastic citrus-forward experience. The taste is nothing short of amazing. The amount of hop presence in such a smooth drinking APA is truly remarkable. Drink this fresh and it is right up there with the Zombie Dusts, Pseudo-Sues, etc.
