Parish Envie is brewed with loads of citrusy American hops to create an assertive, yet balanced American Pale Ale. We've used sweet caramel malts to mesh harmoniously with a dominant hop taste and aroma. Take a sip, embrace the hops, and repeat.

16oz can. Stamp on bottom lip reads 'CANNED ON 06/23/23'.
Very cloudy pale gold colored body. Two fingers of fluffy white head, which sticks around as a puffy cap and ring. Leaves behind partial walls of lacing.
Aroma of orange, grapefruit, melon, mango, and a little pine.
Taste is juicy citrus and moderate pine resin. Flavors of orange, pineapple, and melon. Minor additions of lemon, grapefruit, berry, and mango. Caramel malts hold it all together.
Soft and smooth mouth feel. Dry finish. Coats the mouth and throat and leaves behind a little tongue sting. Very good carbonation.
Rewarding pale ale that is well balanced and layered with flavors.

Capturing all the flavors that are loved about hazy IPA but in a body and balance more aligned with pale ale gives hop heads a reason to be green with envy.
Cloudy and milky gold, Parish's Envie kicks off with a creamy and ivory froth before teasing the nose with a high level of citrus, herb, tropical, melon and berry aromas. Sweeter, creamier and cereal-like, the early malt profile is of honey, light caramel and shortcake.
As the hops billow to prominence across the middle palate, the flavors of tangerine, pink grapefruit and lemon shine past the resistant grains before transitioning to mango, pineapple and passionfruit. All wrapped in a cocoon of honeydew and pawpaw, the taste trends smoothly bitter and fruity.
Medium bodied, creamy and nearly vanilla-like, the session closes malty-dry with an even keel bitter-sweet aftertaste.

Called a pale ale, however my eyes say it looks more like a NE Style. Super white head with decent lacing. Nose is citrus as is the taste. Easy drinker. Good beer, not great, nor a pale ale...all my opinion of course.

Appearance: Creamy-looking, goldish hue, certainly well-hazed. White head. Top-notch lacing.
Smell: Golden Delicious apple, pineapple, guava and citruses. Faintly herbaceous.
Taste: A creamy, soothing stickum of raw grains with slight bready, golden syrup touches. Again, more pineapple, orchard fruit, tropical tones and citrus. Low earthy herbal hint. It kind of has a hint of high-grade baby food puree with a sprinkling of dried herb. Fairly dry, lightly creamy finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-soft carbonation. Lightly creamy mouthfeel.
Overall: Fairly solid, likable beer.

Let us dispense with the niceties to judge this beer: it's a light NE IPA with minimal character. There's some grapefruit & a biting bitterness that's mostly aspirin & less than pleasant. Yet still it fails to offset a river of sugary sweetness that plagues the lesser demons of this ilk. Dead mediocre.

1 finger of bright white head on a hazy light yellow color. There is much lacing. There is citrusy lemon, mango, oatmeal, and something like dried leaves on the nose. A medium pithy bitterness starts the taste which leads to pineapple and a sweet strawberry lemonade. The finish is bit of honey and rather dry. The body is medium, slightly creamy, but still crisp. This is really good beer. So very drinkable. Between this and GITM Parish knows what's up!

Beautiful, hazy, lemon-yellow body; thick and frothy head, white and sticky. A wondrously intense fresh sliced lemon nose; biscuit and oats waft in the background. Nicely balanced taste; moderate citrus flavor, grapefruit; light malt presence; light to moderate bitterness. Heavy body; smooth and velvety; mild citrus tartness; a bit of dryness overriding the juiciness.
This is an awesome hazy pale ale. The freshness certainly helps. It has a finely balanced character yet brings some outstanding elements to bear at points. Complex yet very approachable and very drinkable.
Poured at 46.4 ℉; CANNED ON 08/23/21
