Very Good
Dr. JuiceDr. Juice
Notes: The Doctor is in. Introducing your new go-to IPA, Dr. Juice is a highly crushable juice bomb. Dry hopped with a blend of our favorite hand selected hops from the Yakima Valley, Dr. Juice’s drinkability is sneaky good considering it clocks in at 6% ABV. The pour glows a rich cantaloupe hue with a thick, frosted haze and soft mouthfeel. Aroma and taste is full of passion fruit, papaya, and blood orange, making it drink like a glass of freshly squeezed juice.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a Teku glass.
Canned on 12/16/2021.
Hazy yellow body with a fingers worth of off white head.
Pineapple, grapefruit, orange on the nose
Straight up juice bomb! Tropical fruits, citrus and pine needles.
Medium to light mouthfeel. A little to clean of a finish, thought it would linger longer.
Overall, a total crusher! Price point for a sixer is on point! Will definitely go after this one again.

Pale yellow in color with a hazy complexion. There’s a fingernail of eggshell white on top. The aroma is of tropical fruit with lime, banana, pineapple, and lemon. I’m tasting lime, lemon, and banana. The mouth is smooth and refreshing.

Crazy good mouth feel. Citrus keeps it fresh. Great all year beer. I wish I could get it in Pittsburgh, PA.

Poured from 12-ounce can into a glass tumbler. Hazy, pale yellow in color, with a brilliant white seafoam head. Great head retention, plenty of lacing. Aromas and flavors: straight-up orange juice, start to finish. There is a pleasant floral note on the nose and palate, along with a little light crackery malt and a bit of citrus zest. Light bodied, with a little sweetness and tartness lingering on the finish. Overall, a pleasant enough beer if you like orange juice. And that's truth in advertising.

These people do good work, so maybe I expected too much. Thick, foamy head with lots of carbonation. Terrific mouth feel. The nose is clover or something that doesn't do much for me, and the taste is gentle. A perfectly good beer, even if less awesome than some of their others

Excellent NE style IPA! This tastes more like a Double IPA with lower abv at 6%. Glad I tried it and have few more to enjoy!

12 oz can, freshest I could find, 1/27/20, into Crooked Stave Willie.

Luscious cloudy banana juice color with a massive creamy head of 2 fingers, destroying the glass with lace.

Aroma from the can is straight pineapple and dank wet hop pellets; aroma from the glass yields tons of apricot - who dat - I don't think I've ever smelled so much sweet apricot in an IPA before, white peach, and some sweaty tropical mango.

Flavor is nice and smooth. A little dankness straight out, followed by banana smoothie, a hint of wet paper, orange peel, tangerine, a tiny bit of pineapple, and a tiny bit of mango. I can tell this beer has a short shelf life and will probably be toast in about 3 weeks. Enjoyable flavor profile, but not a record-breaker.

Feel is smooth and creamy with some slight acidity and mild alcohol heat. Busy carbonation underneath the wall of cream.

Overall, a simple and enjoyable straight shooting juice IPA that is worth its price point. Would probably not go back for more unless I found it at like 3 days old. If you're a Parish fan like I am and you're curious, check it out. But it ain't no Ghost, ya heard.

Price paid : $9.99 / 6 pack @ Total Wino
Would buy again : if found insanely fresh

Parish Brewing Co. "Dr. Juice"
12 fl. oz. can, "CANNED ON 10/07/20" and sampled on 12/23/20
$2.69 @ ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, Wildwood, FL

Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a hazy golden beneath a full head of white foam. The aroma is citrusy and tropical over some grainy malt. It's fairly bold but not the strongest aroma for an IPA. The flavor, as usual, is much fuller and offers notes of tangerine, pineapple, mango, passion fruit, melon, and guava. It's a little grassy as well, but I think that's coming from the malt. It seems wheaty, and not oat-like, and I'm guessing that they're using wheat to add the haze. I could be completely wrong. A firm bitterness balances it, and it finishes dry, fruity, and grassy. It's medium-light in body, and gently crisp. I find it quite easy to drink, but not particularly complex or compelling. As a NEIPA it hits the mark, it just lacks that je ne sais quoi that makes a beer special although I'll suggest that more hops would be a good place to start.

Pours a pale straw yellow - completely opaque and cloudy. Nice thick four finger head dissipates steadily leaving just a quarter inch foam head on top of the beer. Lots of sticky white lacing is left on the glass. Aroma has notes of mango, orange, some light dank/herbal notes with a bot of this chalkiness? that I get from NE style IPAs sometimes.

Taste follows the nose with notes of mango, orange, mandarin orange, and a touch of green dankness on the back end. Mild dried grassiness provides a slight bitterness on the back end.. Not very sweet at all. There is a certain lightness to the flavors here. Its an IPA, but it toes the border between pale ale and IPA. Feel is light with really bright carbonation. Semi-dry on the back end.

Overall its a really nice NE style IPA. This one is so drinkable.

Not bad at all, but probably my least favorite Parish IPA. It is, however, very drinkable.

Weakest beer yet from Parish, not bad, certainly quaffable but very underwhelming- like a Tropicalia light
