This is by far my favorite beer ever. Hefeweizen is the bane of my beer-drinking existence. Finding one brewed locally that is as delicious as Blur is has been a blessing. I have to hunt it down here in San Antonio but it is worth the stalking. I am by far not a beer snob but I am very, very picky. Blur is delicious.

An interesting hefeweizen. Darker orange than usual. Bold aroma. Sweetish wheat malt... sweetness is probably accentuated by the banana notes and tropical fruit/citrus (mango, pineapple, apple). It delivers solidly (perhaps heavy-handedly), but then maybe that's a bit much for extended drinkability. Clean and without flaw other than being a little heavy and sweet, it's hard to complain about but I feel like I keep wishing it was a little more refined.

I'd say that this is an all-around okay beer. It's lacking in most areas, though this is not to say that it is bad. It is a bit weak on flavor, in particular. It doesn't have the bite that I like so much about hefeweizens.
