This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with an off white to tan foamy head that dissipated fairly quickly. Stringy lacing starts and slides into the beer. The smell starts off with rich sweet milk chocolate with a light graham cracker lightening the sweetness. As it warmed, marshmallow does come out nicely. Some coffee notes do round it all out. The taste was moderately sweet with the balance between the graham cracker maintaining a sweet to super light bitter coffee aftertaste. There’s a sweet sticky finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation runs extremely light, almost drinks like coffee it’s so smooth. Overall, I liked it for me, but that mouthfeeel, holy sticky sweetness, they probably could have beefed up the carbonation on this one and everything would have been okay.

22oz bomber poured in a Nonic glass. Pours a very dark brown almost black color. Graham crackers and vanilla sweetness in the aroma. Taste of roasted malts, vanilla and graham cracker. The body is fairly thin with light carbonation. Good brew and was definitely worth a try.

poured from a 32 oz "growler"
High Water bills themselves as brewers of "unique flavors for the curious palate". this is a stout beer flavored with graham crackers and molasses that "leaves you wanting S'more".
dark to the point of being opaque, thin tan head
roasted sweetness, chocolatey nose
definitely got the chocolate and marshmallow flavors and the graham cracker is very subtle
mouthfeel is rich and creamy light carbonation and a slight astringent finish
not nearly as odd as it initially sounded. certainly not an everyday beer, but glad I tried it.

Look - Dark Dark Dark - no light comes through. Less than a 1 finger head - goes away quickly. Some foam around outside.
Smell - Chocolate and caramel. Charred wood and coffee. Smells sweet and dessert like.
Taste - Slight bitterness. Rich chocolate and caramel malt. Some coffee and toffee. Starts sweet - then gets dry. Very burnt tasting after the sweetness fades. Left with an aftertaste that makes me think of chewing on a burnt piece of firewood (not that I have tried that).
Feel - Quite thin for a stout. Low side of medium body. Flattens out halfway through the glass.
Overall - Not as impressed as I thought I would be. I was expecting smores, but it seems like a weaker stout with a bit of chocolate. I know if I want smores, just eat smores, but I just hoped for a richer brew. Worth trying, just not a favorite.

On tap at Rocket Dog

A: Pours nearly black with a frothy khaki head that settles to a thin layer and leaves a little spotty lacing.

S: Roasted malt, chocolate, marshmallow, vanilla, earthy spice, and a touch of graham cracker.

T: Roasted malt, milk chocolate, marshmallow, vanilla, earthy, a touch of spice, and a little graham cracker.

M: A bit on the Fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, carbonation keeps it from getting too syrupy.

O: Nails the s'mores stout.

Pours a dark brown cooor with an inch of light tan head and moderate carbonation evident.
Smells awesome, just like smores. Marshmallows, roasted malts, milk chocolate, graham crackers, vanilla, and toffee. Medium body and moderate to low carbonation.

Overall I loved this ; tastes and smells just like smores. Worth checking out.
