Served in straight pint glass. Poured a lightly hazy orange-gold with about a half-inch of just off-white head that had good retention and lacing.

There was a sharp hop scent, mostly citrus with some pine backing, and just enough grain to notice. The flavors started out hop forward, but the grains showed through very well to make a very well balanced beer.

The body was fuller than a lot of the style, but not at all heavy. Drinkability was very good, this could easily be an all-day session beer. Overall, this could be a replacement for Mirror Pond as go-to daily drinker. Worth seeking out.
