On draught at The Bier Stein, appearence is dark cola brown with a thin tan head, some cream, some spritz.
Smell is faint grape esters remiss entry of a BSDA. Closed while cold.
Taste is very big and chocolaty up front, but with zero mid-palate and a faint brett dustiness on the ephemeral finish.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a dry edge.
Taste is pretty underwhelming overall. The esters are pretty good, but that Belgian angle (which I love) doesn't really drive with the chocolate. And the brett Sema to have just thinned and dried it out without much flavor contribution. Bummer.

Pretty plummy and sweet; not a bad beer but not that reminiscent of a Baltic porter.
