Happy hour meets Mother's backyard afternoon tea party. The addition of Earl Grey tea gives subtle orange and tea notes, while the crisp drinkability of an English pale creates a clean refreshing finish. Good save the Queen!

Review from BeerAdvocate Magazine #121
Leafy, Balanced, Tea, Unique
Tea flavored Pale Ale? If the right hops are used, brewers can pull it off without straying from the Reinheitsgebot, but why not just go the extreme path? That’s what Mother’s Brewing did by dosing this beer with a generous addition of Earl Grey tea. It’s very much a English Pale Ale, with lots of balance from a semi-assertive hop character. The tea helps to balance as well. I love the idea—sometimes I’m not in the mood for a coffee beer but could be up for tea time instead. Sessionable and a brew I surely would like to visit again. Pours a caramel color with a white head. Smells of pine and fruit. Solid English pale with flavors of pine, orange and ends with a touch of the Earl grey tea that's in there. Really good beer, smooth, good flavor, glad I got a four pack.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, orange golden color with a one-finger, white head of foam. It smelled of bready malts and sweet caramel. There was an herbal tea presence. Sweet caramel with a hint of tea and floral notes.
