You’re in for a helluva burly bite with this one. Mother’s India Pale Ale is aggressively hopped in both the wort kettle and aging vessel for a sharp, clean bitterness and fragrant citrus hop flavors. We've instilled a mellow malt character as the backbone to balance the elevated alcohol and hop levels IPA lovers crave. Whether you’re an IPA loyalist or just sampling, you've found yourself a great beer. So spend some quality time with Mother’s Lil’ Helper.

I don't have the sophisticated palate most of you have. In fact I usually only recognize the flavor in my mouth after I read it here. But this beer there is no doubt

Hides the 7% well. Goes down smooth and tastes ok but that long bitter aftertaste....Crest Pro-Health mouthwash without the mint

Look: Pours a partly hazy amber with little to no head. Smell: Pleasant aroma of dried apricot, brown sugar and vanilla. Taste: Slight butterscotch, candied pineapple with a little hoppy finish. Mouthfeel: light with a lot of carbonation. Overall, not to bad brew

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Enjoy by 01/09/21, so plenty fresh.
Looks splendid in the glass. Crystal clear golden yellow body. Small white head shrinks to a ring and covering leaving excellent lacing.
Muted aroma, lightly floral.
On tasting, pretty strong bitterness. Grapefruit feel. Malt underbody pops up now and then.
Mouth around medium, finish bitter grapefruit.
Overall, quite an aggressive beer. Nice to have tried it, but a bit much for a session.

L: A hazy, golden body with little carbonation but a lot of frothy, white head that leaves a lot of lacing down the side as I drink.
S: Hops and a grassy character of course, but there is a nice, sweet citrus characteristic and a great malt sweetness rounding it all out.
T: I love the sweetness of this beer. There are good tasting, bitter hops here, but also very boisterous citrus notes that add a little more kick and a malt sweetness that rounds everything out wonderfully.
F: Robust, dry, bubbly and very appropriate for what the beer is.
O: While the hops aren't quite on par with the best IPAs I've had, they are still really good, and the very present malt sweetness rounds out any harshness that may have otherwise been present and makes this beer a joy to drink.

Light copper with a quarter inch of tan on top. Moderate lacing. The aroma is of dank oranges and light citrus, but in a restrained fashion. I'm tasting gently bitter citrus and light malt. The mouth offers a light stickiness and a gentle resinous.
