L: A hazy, golden body with little carbonation but a lot of frothy, white head that leaves a lot of lacing down the side as I drink.

S: Hops and a grassy character of course, but there is a nice, sweet citrus characteristic and a great malt sweetness rounding it all out.

T: I love the sweetness of this beer. There are good tasting, bitter hops here, but also very boisterous citrus notes that add a little more kick and a malt sweetness that rounds everything out wonderfully.

F: Robust, dry, bubbly and very appropriate for what the beer is.

O: While the hops aren't quite on par with the best IPAs I've had, they are still really good, and the very present malt sweetness rounds out any harshness that may have otherwise been present and makes this beer a joy to drink.

Light copper with a quarter inch of tan on top. Moderate lacing. The aroma is of dank oranges and light citrus, but in a restrained fashion. I'm tasting gently bitter citrus and light malt. The mouth offers a light stickiness and a gentle resinous.

Really hoppy, abrasively so. But not hoppy in a floral or fresh type of way. More just pure, dry bitterness. Not much else going on except straight forward stale, dry, and bitter.

Solid IPA from these folks, in fact it's one that helped me get into the style. A nice filtered, amber so you know it's definitely a pale ale. A nice mix of citrus and peachy vibes on the nose with just a little spicyness. It has more of a pine mixed with citrus for your pallet, but it's a really nice balance. Not too malty either. Maybe not quite as bitter as the label suggests (70 IBU, but my pallet says somewhere between 50-60). You can do far worse for your cash, and surprisingly good for where it comes from (Springfield doesn't seem like a beer town)

This brew is a clear, amber colored brew. The head is wispy and slim. Fruit aroma (peach, citrus peel) and spicy hops in the nose. The taste is balanced, with sharp bitterness beginning in the foretaste and establishing itself by the midtaste. Full in body and hoppy, bitter finish. Assertive IPA.

Sampling a 6-pack I purchased in mid-MO. Bottling date was only 4 weeks ago.

A: Bottle conditioned chunks. Pet peeve.
S: Huge smack of hops. Dank piney citrus. Spoiler alert: only really positive aspect of this beer.
T: Sticky sweet malt and no hop punch. I get about 30-40 IBU, not 70.
M: Creamy smooth carbonation, as expected for bottle conditioning. Vastly under carbonated.
O: Not a fan. I wouldn't even recommend trying it.

Nice Amber color with about inch of head. Nose piney with hints of citrus and a little dank malt. Taste is pine with malt undertones. Grapefruit, pineapple and tropical fruits on back end. Nice linger in finish. Of all the mothers line up this is my 2nd favorite next to their new Uncanny. My go to IPA when selection is small in the store in at. Well worth it.
