Notes / Commercial Description:
You’re in for a helluva burly bite with this one. Mother’s India Pale Ale is aggressively hopped in both the wort kettle and aging vessel for a sharp, clean bitterness and fragrant citrus hop flavors. We've instilled a mellow malt character as the backbone to balance the elevated alcohol and hop levels IPA lovers crave. Whether you’re an IPA loyalist or just sampling, you've found yourself a great beer. So spend some quality time with Mother’s Lil’ Helper.

I've tried several IPAs and this is the one I like the best. I've taken drinks of several and threw them away.

Pours light Carmel blonde color with a thick 4-6inch white head with good lacing.

Smells spicy with hints of citrus and light hints of grain. Can really smell the hops.

Tastes great. The hops are aggressive but goes down very smooth. Some type of fruit possible banana in there too very light though. Citrus hints also.

I'm going to buy a case of this stuff. Good bye bud light

Pours a medium to deep golden in color in the body with a big, 3 finger head. Retention and lacing are both very good. The body is slightly hazy. The nose on this beer is mostly moderate hop bitterness, but not entirely hops. The floral quality of the scent turns towards a slightly sweeter note towards the end of the smell. When the beer hits the tongue the hops are slightly more aggressive than in the scent. The hops display a more pine-like flavor in the taste than the scent up front before the malt base mixes in just a little bit. At the end of the drink the hops make a somewhat aggressive return in a bit of a heightened bitterness before they are left lingering on the palate. On the whole, this beer drinks very easily and is very sessionable for a 7% IPA with good bitterness. This beer is smooth on the palate as well.

Overall, this is a very solid IPA that is rather easy drinking. Good bitterness, but not over hopped and a good balancing malt base.

Disappointed. Typically enjoy mothers but this lacked body. Weak for an ipa
