Very Good
The Demon BoyThe Demon Boy
Notes: This beer is brewed with Lotus hops, the character from the fresh hop bag is straight up ORANGE CREAMSICLE!!! A lot of that character comes through in the finished beer too. New art to compliment the new beer by our friend across the pond @wolfskulljack_art !!! It will be available through @tavour as well next week.

16oz canned 9-11-19, opened 11-13-19.
1"+ white head cresting over the rim of the glass, golden IPA - not quite opaque nor 100% hazy. Excellent retention, ton of carbonation racing upwards to keep the head alive. Thick, fresh lacing.
Lemon, orange (mandarin), woodsy, herbal, vanilla, white grape...LOTS going on here, great aroma.
Lots of orange citrus flavor, tangerine / mandarin orange / pithy orange rind. Herbal tea-like flavors sneak in late. Really tasty, fresh, bright flavors.
Bright entry, medium body with medium carbonation. Lengthy citrus finish with a nice lingering rind-like bitterness.
Very good, this is a winner in my book.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 9/11/2019. Pours very hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy of white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, vanilla, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, vanilla, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, vanilla, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol or hop burn after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic hazy IPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Nicely soft feel, and not overly aggressive. Fantastic 100% Lotus profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a great balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding spot on style example as expected.

This one pours a fairly hazy golden orange color, with a big fluffy head, and lots of lacing.

This one smells like grassy and green bitterness, floral sweet hops, mango, orange rind, and grapefruit.

Their IPAs are almost always winners, and this one isn't an exception to that rule. It's got a nice dry and green bitterness, with floral hops, and some pine. There's also mango and grapefruit, somewhat as expected.

This is light bodied, and finishes dry, with a sticky finish, and a good drinkability.

I haven't had one of these IPAs in a bit, and they're as good as I remember.

Pours a slightly cloudy light gold with a very well retained fluffy two inch head that left a lot of lacing. Smells of tropical and citrus fruits along with floral notes. Tastes of lemon/lime, some lemon peel, floral elements, mild malt presence and mild to moderate bitterness. Not getting any tropical fruits to speak of in the taste. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry mouth feel.

Light gold colored body; mildly cloudy, thick, foamy head; a few flecks of foam sticking to the glass. Very fruity and floral aroma; orange and lemon; freshly cut fragrant flowers. Nicely balanced flavors with a nod towards the hops; juicy; grapefruit; very light malt base; nice bitterness rounding things out. Medium-heavy body; juicy yet leaning towards a dry feel overall.

A very fine, well-rounded American IPA, balanced and fragrant with respectable depth and complexity.
