Anchorage Brewing is known for really innovating in the craft beer world, and this beer is quite a beauty. The Do Us Part is a Double IPA with Citra and Vic Secret hops, which is then double dry hopped with those same hops. It's a way to really show how they interact with each other, both in their bitterness and their juicy texture they can produce. You can see when you pour it how juicy the beer is going to be. It smells strongly of Citra, which I think is the primary hop in this mixture. It displays the bitterness of a double IPA on the tongue, but it also displays a juicy, citrusy taste that happens almost simultaneously. At 8.4% this beer is quite crushable. Don't know when I'll find this beer again, but I'm glad I got it.

A three to four finger light head to on a medium bodied hazy that looks a lot like grapefruit juice. The smell is intense and grassy with a bit of tropical fruit.
First couple tastes I didn’t like much at all due to the overwhelming bitterness and lack of complexity.... but wait. As I gave it time to open up and breathe it took on a totally different life: intensely herbal on a fruitful backbone. Slight pepper. Grassy with a touch of the dank. How amazingly different and delightful!

16oz can served in a pint glass. 4/25/19.

Pours very hazy -- whitish yellow with a medium to large head. Smell is juicy, fresh -- smells like citrus rind.

Taste is intense. Lots of fruit juiciness, lots of bitter. A bit of grapefruit rind (the white part) to it.

Mouthfeel is medium to thick, moderately dry. Overall, this is a very nice beer.
